ouch! I love the guy, but I can't see us matching that for a 3rd WR. might be time to see if the Skins cut Moss.

Nope, good for him. Cant be mad at Dallas for that. Look for some WR's to be brought in.

I think it depends on who else we get in FA. If noone else signs over the next day or so, strong possibility cowboys match that.

:laugh2:What's sad is he probably will. The next time we hear about him (if ever again) will be when he's released.

Dallas shouldn't match that offer, but this will be a tough loss to swallow for Romo.

I could make an argument (thought I would loose the argument) that Robinson is more important than Carr.

Sounds like the going rate for Laurent Robinson is up to $6 million per year. Don't look for the Cowboys to match that.

Good grief...I hope we don't match at that price.

Good for him though. Seized his chance and is getting a payday. He needs to sends some of his signing bonus to Tony.

Not sure why anyone would see him as a 6m a year reciever he was a toss around player all but last year. Good news for him and his family bad news for us and whoever pays him that much.

Draft is deep at WR, saw 32 guys with draftable grades. Particularly round 3-5.

Good for Robinson - he earned it - hopefully he can keep it up.
Cowboys can't really afford to match that - have other positions of need first.
Lots of 3rd WR's out there, IF Austin and Dez step up as hoped/expected.

I will say it again, Robinson might have been our best WR last year though.
Like Austin and Dez, but they can do better, and better do better, or they aren't earning their contracts.

Boy, 6 million for a 3rd WR. I love him, but let's be honest, a lot of his production came on broken plays where Romo just found him.

Robinson doesn't have enough of a track record for that kind on money. He would need a least 3 years similiar to what he did last year for $6M/year

Awww....well I'd pretty much resigned myself to losing him anyway. It's a shame cause I really liked him and the chemistry he created so quickly with Tony but that's how it goes.

He played really well for us and it's earned him a shot to go somewhere and be a starter there and possibly a #1 guy for another team.

How did he earn it? He was a nobody hired gun until he pairs up with Romo.
