The stockyards in Ft Worth have some of the best steaks anywhere. I live in Austin so I don't get up that way a lot, but when I do make the drive up the stockyards are first on the eating list!!!

Hey guys, I will be going down to Dallas Fri-Mon for a friends Bach party. We got suite tickets for the game, and I am beyond pumped.

Question, are there any suggestions for things to do Fri night, Saturday, and Sunday after the game? Obviously we will hit some restaurants and bars, but I haven't been to Dallas since 2008, and I'd like some form of a rough plan on things to do.

Any input is appreciated!
The Cowboys stay at the Gaylor Perry hotel the night before all home games. It's the official Dallas Cowboys hotel. There will be other Cowboy fans and you might get a glimpse of players walking thru. The Cowboys themed sports bar is worth a visit while there with a huge 52 ft screen. Largest I've seen in a bar.

If you have time down the street in Grapevine is the official Cowboys golf course. If you don't have time to play its still worth a quick visit to small bar and pro shop if your looking for a souvenir or pics . One time I ran into Too Tall Jones having a beer after his round.

.
Its the Gaylord Texan. Also, that sports bar is called the Texan Station, and it's awesome. I go there every Monday during the season for Cowboys Hour radio show.

Where are you staying? I just moved from Texas earlier this year. Dallas can be loads of fun.

Uptown, Deep Ellum, Greenville, Knox/Henderson, Addison has great nightlife. Fort Worth has some spots too although I don't go out there often

Hit uptown bro. You won't be disappointed. Friday is kinda weak but tues, thurs, sat, and Sunday are good.

Uptown: sidebar, concrete cowboy, sisu, tipsy alchemist, avenu, citizen ect are cool. There are some more I left out.
Deep elm: T&A and punk society ( Sunday nights)

So&so is good Monday nights.

Or he could take a tour of the stadium on Fri or Sat before the game.

Exactly. If you do the tour, remember to book in advance. I remember a woman and her son walking up to the ticket booth and being told that all the tours were sold out and they weren't able to do the tour. The tour is well worth it. The time on the field is priceless.

Ive never done that. But I like it with people in there and the players throwing around the ball. Getting some food, drinks, settling in ect.....ect......

Stockyards would be my suggestion for Saturday. Walk around and see the sights. Eat or at least get a beer at the Star Cafe. Make sure to drop into Billy Bobs and read all the plaques on the walls. Joe T's or Mercado Juarez are great mexican food places.

As someone mentioned the go kart place is a good time especially for a group of guys.

It pretty much depends on what you guys are in to. I've always said that if you're bored in Dallas / Ft. Worth you only have yourself to blame because there is always something going on.

Which steak house exactly? I am from Fort Worth and never had a steak at the stockyards.
