we have one of the best record stores in the country about 15 minutes south of the stadium...

forever young records.

alsomy kids tell me the sushi is pretty good at krogers.

and down the street from the stadium there is a place called rent a tire, in case you need one tire this is the place to go.

Great place. I was planning on heading there within the next few weeks.

I will be coming with the wife for October 30th game vs the Eagles. I've done a tour of the Stadium the last couple times I've come to watch, so I'm wondering if it's possible yet (or by that time) to take a tour of the Star? Would be cool to maybe see some people (heck, even seeing someone like Nick Eatman or Tiny Jim would be sweet as a fan).

For people who suggested the Gaylord Texan, I see this 'Star Sport Tours' that Bryan Broaddus advertises on Cowboys Break, its $200USD to meet and greet with atleast three Cowboys players...anyone ever try it? That's pretty hefty (especially with the weak Canadian Dollar), but would be cool to meet some active Cowboys (knowing my luck it'll be someone like JJ Wilcox)

Hey guys, I will be going down to Dallas Fri-Mon for a friends Bach party. We got suite tickets for the game, and I am beyond pumped.

Question, are there any suggestions for things to do Fri night, Saturday, and Sunday after the game? Obviously we will hit some restaurants and bars, but I haven't been to Dallas since 2008, and I'd like some form of a rough plan on things to do.

Any input is appreciated!
Don't lay over in Philly!

You watching Cowboys games on TV alone makes the Jones family money, don't kid yourself. And while I'm not rich, I'm definitely comfortable financially enough that I don't have to worry about petty things like that. If I'm coming from Vancouver to Dallas and staying four nights, $200usd on top of everything else I'm paying for isn't that outlandish if I get to meet some players

Which steak house exactly? I am from Fort Worth and never had a steak at the stockyards.
Cattlemen's Steak House is great, its located right next to Billy Bobs if I remember correctly. You should really check it out next time you are at the Stockyards. Here is a link to their website, they have their menu and pics of the place you can check out before you go.

I need to stay our of there. Between there and half price books I am going broke.
Man, Half Priced Books got me for $70 the other day. They have Norman Rockwell plates. He's my favorite artist. I also found 2 albums (unopened original presses) on vinyl I had to get.

I know the feeling...but I been pretty good lately. Very selective now. I do have hundreds of CD's I plan to take for trade in or sell. How does that work. Do you get 2 prices, one cash, one store credit? I know places in Florida similar to forever Young did both.
Who gives better prices, Forever young, or 1/2 price?

I find old TV shows on DVD at 1/2 price, but selective on those also.
