I'm in Newark, DE for work now. Probably going to head to Philly tomorrow. I guess the important question is Geno's or Pats? The second important question is will I get shot or stabbed for wearing my Cowboys baseball cap?
Wow, are there no people familiar with Philthy on here?
What is there to do other than the obvious historical things to see? Is it safe to wear Cowboy gear? I will be there for a week in Exton, which is a suburb of Philly for some training.

Interesting. I don't live far from Exton. Do you work for a pharma or biotech company ?
If you go into the city of Philadelphia, all the historical sites (Independence Hall, Liberty Bell, Constitution Center) are nice. Italian Market, Art Museum, Franklin Institiute, Boathouse Row are all good to see as well. Depending on how much time you have, from Exton, you can travel west on Route 30 for 1 hour and get to Lancaster, which has a lot of Amish (horse and buggy, etc.). Its pretty cool.
As far as Cheesesteaks, you could also try Tony Luke's (Front and Oregon streets in Philly)
I would not wear Cowboys gear unless you don't mind getting harassed. Because it is summer, it may be less of a deal than during the season, though wearing it a restaurant might get you food spit on by the cook!
As bad as the Eagles fans are (and many are from the suburbs and southern NJ), the Philadelphia area is a great place.
Dang, I just realized that the democratic convention will be going on this week in Philly. There goes my site seeing. The extra traffic and security will probably make it not worth the effort.
Maybe you and Schultz can go see the sights together
