Its early but I love seeing "Dream Teams" fail
Philadelphia Phillies - four aces = jack squat! Lol
Mega - FAIL!

Part of the problem with these teams is it takes some time for the stars to mesh. Maybe even more then a season. Miami looked bad at times during the first season of Lebron/Wade/Bosh and even lost in the Finals to a lesser talented Mavs team. But they eventually gelled
I think my St. Louis Cardinals knocked them out.Philadelphia Phillies - four aces = jack squat! Lol
Mega - FAIL!
This is more like Gary Payton and Karl Malone to the Lakers.
The Spurs have more new players than the Warriors do. Didn't seem to bother them on opening night.
No they don't.
And what new player do they have that's as integral to the starting lineup as Durant is to the Warriors.
Pau Gasol.
And here are the rest of the new players. Keep in mind, an NBA roster is 15. And they still destroyed the might dream team Warriors.
42 Davis Bertans
3 Dewayne Dedmon
11 Bryn Forbes
16 Pau Gasol
27 Nicolas Laprovittola
10 David Lee
5 Dejounte Murray
The difference is Lebron didn't join a title ready team. He was the reason that they were a contender.
They have a grand total of one more new player (7) on their roster than the Warriors (6) do. What a profound point you made.
And Gasol averages just 23.6 minutes a game for them. Meanwhile, Durant leads the Warriors in 36 minutes a game.
and Gasoline only 23.6 is beneficial to the Spurs.
lol, this is why we don't post and drive
Clyde, I said the Spurs had more new players than the Warriors. Duh. And the fact that Durant is playing 36 minutes a game and Gasoline only 23.6 is beneficial to the Spurs. Again, duh.
Spellcheck doesn't provide a defense for your takes.
You were harping (prematurely) on the Warriors and bringing up the fact the Spurs have more new players than the Dubs. They have just one more player that wasn't on the their roster last year; it's a moot point.
I asked you what player do they have that's integral to their team. You said Gasol, but he's playing just 23 minutes a game.
Meanwhile, the Warriors are trying to work in two new starters in Durant and Pachulia into their scheme.
Spurs 129 Warriors 100
I'll take that non-sequiter of a response as an acknowledgement you spoke out your arse.
Wrong. You said the Warriors had more new players when in fact its the Spurs who have more new players. Just like the 129-100 Spurs win, you lose.
He left with Bosh to join Wade in Miami to create a super trio. I don't see much of a difference. I don't see his intent being any different that Durant's in wanting to win championships.
Irregardless of intent, the main difference between LeBron and Durant is that LeBron joined a team that won 15 games the season before , and hadn't won the nba championship in 5 years at the time. where as Durant joined a team that not only was one game away from a 2ND straight NBA championship the year before , but also won a record number of games. and to make it even worse, the main players of the main roster was still there. and this is ignoring the fact that he joined a team that his own team was one game away from beating.
LeBron created a super team in order to try to win a championship, while Durant joined a super team who has already won a championship in order to win one.
Durant joining the Warriors is more like Ray Allen joining the heat. except Durant is younger, and better.
Couple of things..
1) Saying "Irregardless of intent..." misses the entire point. The intent of each of these players in question was/is to win championships. To think there's some "right way" for Durant to leave is absurd as it is to think what Lebron and Bosh did is somehow more admirable.
2) The rest of your post is simply factually wrong. Lebron and Bosh joined Wade in Miami for the 2010-2011 season. The Heat had just came off a 47 win season with a postseason appearance in 2009.
