I agree that no WR is a first round candidate. Bust potential is extremely high on the WR crop this yr.

Yeah, I heard it on WFAN, I like how Francesa drops Parcells name around like he talked to him twice yesterday, Also Mayock has a case of Man love on Matt Ryan saying he reminded him off Carson Palmer.

I think James Hardy would be borderline first round in just about any class of WRs.

I think Thomas will go in the 1st and so will Sweed if his wrist checks out again. Doucet is Borderline.

I didn't listen to it, but CARSON PALMER? How can you watch Matt Ryan play and see Carson Palmer? He doesn't have anywhere near the physical tools of a Palmer. Mayock is my least favorite draft "expert". Some of his rankings are just so off the wall, and you know that he only does it just to go against the norm.

And he made this determination by watching 3 or 4 tapes. I love that one.

Hey, McFadden got caught from behind when a LB had a good angle at him and McFadden got done dodging tacklers. So he must be slow :)

While I'm not his biggest fan, Merril Hoge usually does the best job of analyzing draft prospects. Unlike Kiper, he knows what he's talking about and unlike Mayock he doesn't go against the grain just to be unique.

Not really anything on Dallas, however it's a good listen talks about how "McFadden isn't even in the same school district as Peterson" in terms of pro potential. In his mind no WR has a 1st round grade thought that was interesting.

Mayock needs to be tested for illegal substances...especially with him also insisting Matt Ryan is the next Carson Palmer

I think Ryan has a huge bust factor. The best thing Mayock can say about him is that he's a good guy who loves the game. That's fine and all, but it doesn't mean he can play. It definitely doesn't mean you take him #1 overall.

Good lord. Is it possible for mayock to be more arrogant. He acts like everything he says is the only truth or something.

I could listen to francessa all day.

Russo and mayock are just tough to listen to.

I loved it when Marshall Faulk disagreed with him re: McFadden and Mayock turned and snapped, "How much tape have YOU watched?" Yet Mayock admits he only watches 3-4 games of each player. How many "football" people haven't seen at least 3 games of McFadden?

what is his beef with mcfadden anyway? Does he not like his lifestyle off the field or something?

All the experts get to say whatever they want this time of year in 4 months they cant say anything so I guess that is why they are all so pompous.

He found a clip where he doesn't "drive his legs" after being tackled. But in reality, in that clip, he was tackled FROM THE SIDE. Kinda hard to drive your feet forward when someone knocks you down on your side. Oh, and there was the clip of him getting run down from behind, which he used to suggest he wasn't very fast. I doubt he's used that clip since he ran a 4.33, though.

I'm not some big McFadden nut, but the stuff he uses to back up his opinion is just silly.

I kinda agree with Mayock about the WR's. But I think it is better than last yrs class, definately. (I know you can play this game with any position) but...when was TO drafted, Chad Johnson? etc.

I think Limas, Malcolm, and Deshaun have pretty good skill sets for NFL, but so do many others (Marcus Monk too, as you can see)

I guess at 28, I would prefer Deshaun
