I have seen some suggestions on other cowboys forums about ordering knock off jerseys from China that are pretty close in quality to the authentic gameday jerseys. Anyone have a suggestion?

I've seen the knock offs, not even close, especially after you wash them once. I have zero respect for people who buy knock off jerseys.

I am yet to see a knock off Nike jersey. But the official Nike authentics aren't worth the money IMO. I was told at the local cowboy pro shop that the are the exact cut the players wear on field making them a tighter fit and the material is thick and very stiff. I recommend taking a look and the level lower jersey. Even though they are around $100 they are much closer to what you may be expecting from a knock off authentic.

I have zero respect for people who have zero respect for others based on what they wear.

I work in Sporting Goods and agree with Vanilla2. Go with the $100 Nike replica.

The Nike jerseys fit me the way I wished the reeboks would for all those years. I just don't see how someone with any sort of gut would feel comfortable in the new authentics.

I buy the knockoffs exclusively. Tough break for me I guess :laugh2:

Not sure what you mean there, even real authentic jerseys don't take well to multiple washing/drying cycles. That's why I pretty much dry clean all of mine.

So you have zero respect for anyone that just can't afford an authentic jersey but would still like to represent their team. :bang2:

Apparently so. Having an issue with the quality of the jersey is one thing, saying you have no respect for another FAN of YOUR TEAM simply because they can't afford to blow a couple hundred dollars for an "Authentic" is totally Elitist & asinine.

If you like the Cowboys on FB they will let you know when stuff goes on sale, of course it is the spring and off season, but I saw the authentic ones for as low $20 a few months ago. I think it was a 3 day or 48 hour sale and it wont help this second, but like every thing timing is sometimes big in life.

While I can respect your position, I don't really understand it. Either way, it is coming from a Chinese/Malaysian sweatshop. I have see a couple in person and I couldn't tell the difference from the real thing.

I have heard that Tarajersey is real good....

co-sign there's a glaring difference and I can spot a fake a mile away. The quality is no near in comparision

I suggest you buy the real thing

Do you feel the same way about people who drive a car made by a different auto maker than the one you drive?

Or people who vote for a different party?

Or what if you happen to prefer McDonalds, do you have no respect for those who go to Burger King?

Or what if you wear Reeboks, do you have no respect for those who wear Nike's?

I got you bro, anybody who puts mayo on a sandwich gets no respect from me!

The reeboks were very good. Hardly any noticable differences from the real deal. Not sure aboit the nikes. They sell them but I havnt seen their version up close.

Knockoffs are tricky bc some look good in pics but terrible in person. Numbers are wat to ahiny etc. just depends on where u order from.

Nike elite nfl jerseys are 250, the knockoffs can be as cheap as 30. The price difference is massive, but you can find quality knockoffs on certain websites.

Be careful when you buy any "knock-off" product. It might be cheap, but it might also be problematic in terms of quality which has its' owns plethora of issues. We had an issue with an online store selling kid's pj's which turned out to be quite flammable.

As Jobberone has noted, you need to be careful what you suggest. Personally, if I was purchasing team attire, I'd want to be sure about quality and fit. If the authentic jerseys are too expensive, then perhaps people won't buy them. Get a ball cap instead.

tarajersey is pretty decent zack. My Cards jersey has a few issues with the stitching in some places, but overall, the quality is very good. I used to be able to afford to spend $280 on a jersey, now with a family and mortgage, not so much. I'd do it again in a pinch to save.
