If he is needed to replace Martin for any amount of time, I hope is is able to hold down the fort.
That leaves us with 3 backups at the 3 interior Oline Spots.

Indeed. When he came in yesterday, he immediately did an olé to allow his guy to pressure Dak. We all like to credit Cooper with this turnaround but Su'a-Filo replacing Williams was hella important too.

Joe Looney is basically a starter, and Williams was/is a starter.

We really can't afford to have Williams at RG IMO. He is not strong enough to match up at LG, which is usually the move guard. No way he holds down RG because that is usually the more physical of the two spots. I have not rewatched the game but I'll almost guarantee that he was getting pushed back into the pocket. That's a tough match up there. Might need to flip Guards.

I think Conner is gonna be a bust. It will take about 2 years for him to get big and strong enough to play guard. I hope Im wrong.

Williams is still light in the pants.... God help us if he is tossed back into the starting lineup before he gets a full off-season to grow into his NFL big boy pants.

I witnessed a classic bull rush of Conner back into Dak yesterday and I am not a fan of seeing much more of that..

It usually does take OLs about 2/3 seasons to develop enough. I'm confused, why would that mean bust?

I'm not sure that he has enough body weight to get more strength. Therefore I think he is a bust.

Maybe it's me thinking of Phil Costa all over again.

I doubt we see Martin until at least the playoffs. I think another off season will serve Conner well. I think he’ll be a good one in time.

Very very true. He just looks so undersized out there. It’s so obvious. He really needs an offseason of an NFL diet/preparation. I like to believe the talent is there...just get his size/strength up to par and it’ll have been a good draft pick.

I'm definitely not saying your wrong. I was just curious as to why you say he might be a bust but then say it usually takes 2 years. It was like you were contradicting yourself. I was just curious.

I mean, you may be right. It's too early to tell yet. We will know more next year. An off season or two makes a world of difference in the NFL, as you know.

When you do get a chance you are going to see exactly what you expected. It is bad, real bad. I believe he got blown up on every single play. We are in trouble!

I'm just curious what an off season of an NFL diet and lifting is that he isn't getting right now? Is he all of a sudden gonna get as big as Tyrone Smith? I think it's more technique, leverage and foot work he needs to learn.

Can Fleming play RT if so put him there and move Collins to Guard until troops are healthy?
