Three straight 5-11 seasons v. Two playoff births in four years.

Yeah, he has destroyed this team.

those 5-11 teams had 5-11 type talent

I think our team should be better than 9-7 after four years of Bill Parcells...wouldnt you agree?

more important than the record is how the team is playing RIGHT NOW...we should be playing BETTER than we were in week 1 or week 8, instead we are FAR WORSE

I could live with the 9-7 record if the teams level of play was better, but right now we're playing like a team that should be drafting in the top-5, not a team in the playoffs

Parcells is the best coach that Dallas has had since at least Johnson. When Parcells inherited this team it was pathetic and without talent. We made the playoffs with a second string QB and a mediocre OL.

Parcells did a great job with that 2003 team...since then, ugh

he was a great coach, eons ago...today he is a liability and a prime example of "the game has passed you by"

It's good that you give him credit for the talent. The point of my post was that he hasn't ruined the team for 15 years like the poster I was replying to stated. I think the team has a bright future and wouldn't mind a Les Miles or a Bill Cowher in here instead of Parcells.

that I would agree with...I do think the talent is there to be a very good team...certainly better than what we see now

The 2-13 Lions beat the Cowboys,at Texas Stadium.
See Billy,a coach who had all but 2 wins in his FIRST year brought his sorry team to our teams' house and spanked our hall of famer coach's team.
Yes Billy,Tuna's D was shredded again. His 3-4 was taken apart again.
Zimmer may be inadequate to say the least, but Billy,Parcells is his boss.
That cannot happen Billy,EVER.
What happened today at Texas Stadium was disgraceful.

Is anyone arguing that we didn't lay an egg today? And your screen name.

I still believe th3e guy who's job is to gameplan and prepare the defense should get the brunt of the blame for such a pisspoor showing. Zimmer draws up and calls teh defensive plys. He's the one who likes to play the soft zone, and send dumb blitzes.

Also, I'm not the most enthusiastic about Parcells job here, but if you honestly think we're 15 years behind when Parcells has brought us the talent to be a contender, you're kidding yourself. If you really think that we are worse off than we were with a 5-11 team full of players who shouldn't even be in this league, then fine, you must be right.

Hey,if you keep your mouth shut,we won't find out how smart you aren't.

I'll let your avatar speak for itself.

oh man i jumped on the Jackson bandwagon when i saw him play against USC his last year as a Pro and boy was I crushed when Parcells made the stupidity of trading down... Jackson IMO is the 2nd best overall RB in the NFL. he can just do it all
