maybe we can focus on true problem instead of picking a temporary punching bag named Garrett. Dallas problems were way before Garrett and they will remain after he leaves.

That's too easy on JJ...in a backwards kind of way.

I just dont want the fact that Jerry is an awful GM to allow us to give a free pass to an awful head coach.

At the very least, he'll have to pay the remainder of this crap coaches contract while preparing another puppet :)

See what free agency and a salary cap do.
seriously though, Jerry can ruin almost anything.

Jerry said the NFL wants every team to be 8-8. Well when that finally happens we will be better at it than anyone! he is truly a visionary!

I fell for it as well...we all wake up at different toremostimes :)

Well..

Jerrah hes first and foremost about the money.

Things have changed a great deal since Jones built this new stadium.

Over the period of time that Jones has changed his income to not just the team,

But now the stadium..

the team has disintegrated.

..Parcels and his hire was just another marketing scheme to make us think things were going to change..

..and to sell tickets to the new stadium.

As soon as the stadium was complete..

Parcells was gone.

It all was a ruse.

One of Jones' big problems is that he truly believes every scrap of nonsense that comes out of his mouth....he entire organization just agrees with the crap he is shoveling so at this point, he hasn't heard any detractors to say he is wrong (in his organization)...he just doesn't listen to anyone else...

It doesn't help that his accomplices in the DFW media give him softball question after another; never calling out the entertainment aspect to his GM structure of the team. "Would you fire yourself?" Hardy har har...but actually are our press passes ready for the next event master?

If I was his interviewer- I'd be fired before he left the building.
In their defense- this is their job: this is what puts bread on their table. Pays the bills. In this economy- it's hard to lose your income because you want to ask THE HARD QUESTION.
They don't have much choice.

Isn't that the responsibility of the DFW media? To protect journalism from authoritative regime? Love your first statement...sooo I shouldn't have painted my face on my first professional interview :)? Naw, I know you get it just by reading your posts bro...enjoy em.

It is, but that died off years ago unfortunately. It is the New Reality we live in.
I worked in Journalism for a time. Real truth digging has been all but completely suppressed and it's trickled down to all levels of journalism but for a few good men fighting the good fight.
I'm not saying you're wrong.
I'm saying that these guys are worrying about their paychecks more than sussing out the Truth.

Like I said- if I was the interviewer, I wouldn't have lasted the day.
That's why I'm no longer in the business.

hmmm.......to get everyone to 8-8 the NFL would have to handicap certain coaches to limit them. Probably have to force them to wear a MP3 player with Heavy metal music going full time on high to limit their concentration and calculation levels vrs. the underacheivers like Garrett.

A good coach can take his'un and beat your'un..........and take your'un and beat his'un........it isn't just tiered drafting ....there are coaches just like businessman that will beat the others consistently. A good coach will take a Wilson or a Koepernick in the later rounds and build a system around him, a ave. coach can have a Romo and devise a scheme to limit him.

Good idea
Instead of calling it a handicap the NFL can call it a "Garrett"

So football coaches can brag about their Garrett being 4 (ie 4 wins above 8)

And fans can ask each other what the Garrett is for their team

Now that was funny.
You should copyright that.

I hear ya totally...especially concerning the mainstream political laziness that has been progressing since the Clinton-Lewinsky scandal; and the next administration "cough" and onto the current. Scared journalism with no guts or concern for the importance journalism entails in informing the mass public with minimal bias. It is the cornerstone of a democratic republic and we have been allowing it to be pushed underground unfortunately.

I could go into pages of dialogue about this but I will sum it up with:
Yes.
