Basically is saying that a lot of fans are unfairly throwing Romo under the bus. Simply, with all the money that we've invested in the defense during the draft and in free agency, they should be carrying this team. We shouldn't be depending on Romo, who just started his 9th game to win the game. This guy is going to be a good QB and he's doing the best he can right now. Receivers dropping passes doesn't help his effort. That dude was making plays early in that game yesterday and his offensive line and receivers (one in particular) keeps letting him down. Some things have to change. Basically her point, as well as Cooperstein, is that Romo will be fine and we should not depend on Romo to win the game right now. I think Coop said we're asking him to be Staubach before Roger Stabach was Stabach (If that makes sense).

I thought Romo played pretty well until late in the 3rd quarter.

Romo played fairly well, IMO.

But Romo shouldn't be carrying the team. The defense should be carrying this team.

A lot of fans unfairly put Romo in the Hall of Fame and now they can't deal with the rediculous expectations they put on him not being met every game.

Romos not the problem. If anything, its that Oline that sucks so damn horribly I think my high school team could beat them, and I hear we have a few dead guys and a few in jail from that 1982 team. and Yes, I mean my 1982 team could beat this cowboys team today, with the dead and in jail guys not being there. The old 40 something old high schoolers show more heart and fire then that pathetic mess Parcells threw out there yesterday.

Wow. She's spot on. That's really surprising.

The Cowboys should have relied on Romo more when they got down to the goalline and decided to run, run, and run some more (and then turn the ball over on downs).

Bad playcalling, IMO.

Romo made a bad throw to T.O. in the endzone that resulted in an INT and had some shakey passes but you can't blame the guy for this loss...

Well whether it's Romo or the offense as a whole we need a lot more than we got yesterday or the Saints game too for that matter.

You can say the D has to carry us but yesterday I'm not sure if we'd have scored more than 7 if the game went 6 quarters. We could just as well lost 10-7 as 40-7.

Even in the early 90's when it came to playing the Niners for example (not the the Eagles are the Niners but our D isnt as good as back then either) it's not like the games were some 13-10 defensive battles. No matter how good both D's were the other team could score points.

Great point. If Romo had 3 opportunities to throw a TD, he would have certainly made one. He was on fire at that point in the game.

I just think teams have adjusted to Romo's style of play. The Saints gave the nfl the blueprint.

Tony Romo is a top 5 QB for next 8 years with the Eagles offensive line.

Hell, he's a top 5 QB for the next 8 years with our sorry line. He may be the #1 every year with a line like the Eagles'.

There's no "blueprint".

If you cant run the ball on the Eagles and get behind early, it's going to be tough. The eagles have always been a good front-running team because of their style of play, both offensively and defensively.

I've been saying it for weeks.....follow the money trail. This team has so much money and 1st day picks on defense....PLUS the head coach is a defensive guy....so this should be carrying the team...and if he is back next year...he better figure out how to make that side of the ball work...because I DO NOT WANT another 1st day pick used on that side of the ball...we better look at the OL, WR and RB position. Parcells better find a gem at NT (he found Ferguson in the 7th) or a gem at OLB...but some long term solutions on the OL and WRs spot are needed to give Romo what he needs long term.

I'm sorry but this is BS

When Romo plays bad which he did, he deserves to be criticized just like everyone else
