Every team improves their roster from the year before - with the draft.
We dont have a first round pick this year, so that puts us behind most teams right off the bat. And that was dud to the great FO, move of WR by committee narrative.
Now, most teams also, improve by FA. Some over pay, well, most do - but at least they are trying to improve themselves
So, now we have division winning i.e. tougher schedule, no 1st pick for an impact player, because we needed an impact player half way thru the season to save their ***** !
I bought in on the " we will not be conservative in FA". And the Jerry is feeling mortal, and wants to take the next step. If all they did was get Thomas, I would be happy. Hell even Amos out of Chicago. Botched the Lawrence negotiations- not what you would expect when trying to take the next step ......*******s
