Frankly, I don't understand these threads criticizing JJ Watt threads are coming from.

I really this is an internet forum at all and debate / discourse is encouraged, but WHY waste any breath arguing that Watt is anything other than the best defensive player in the entire NFL and leave it that.

While we are at it why don't we start the thread back up that ran 15 pages long criticizing Aaron Rodgers's play when trailing by more 9 points or more in the 4th quarter of games?

Thats right completely forget what I said about the Cowboys.

Eli threw 15 TDs vs 2 Interceptions collectively in the 2007 and 2011 Giant Super Bowl runs.

Frankly, he had two of the most spectacular runs by a NFL QB in Super Bowl history.

Are you arguing that he was in someway not fantastic in those Super Bowl runs?

He's still Eli and he was the beneficiary of some marvelous luck.

15 TDs vs 2 INTs and all I ever hear from you is that Eli was lucky and that they won <despite> him.

Your hatred blinds you.

No more than your love for E-Lie blinds you.

15 TDs vs 2 INTs and he still needed tremendous luck.

I don't love him. I think he is an average QB.

Having said that, I am not willing to stoop to denying that he played incredible in those 2 Super Bowl runs.

I would offer the idea that maybe they could trade him for the first pick next year......but they may have the first pick anyway!

I mentioned trading him after the game to a friend. I wonder if someone would give a first and idk a third. Attendance would drop like a rock at reliant, he.s a big reason why most people show up

Watt is like every other defensive player in the NFL -- totally dependant on the QB who leads the other side of the ball for real success in the NFL.

Unless your Seattle with Wilson and the Ravens with Dilfer...

Watt's a beast, I respect his work ethic. However Romo got the best of him last year and I'll never forget that TD pass.

spectacular runs? What are you smoking when it took a miraculous catch on a helmet PLUS a top CB dropping a sure interception for the 2007 version. Montana's stats blow Eli's away every time. Keep slobbering over Eli while we laugh at you.

I don't know what to tell you Burmafrd.....

I can't help you if you can't recognize those are great numbers.

I'm sorry those stats happen to be attached to Eli Manning's performance those two years in the post-season.

Watt is a great player that plays a rather unimportant position in the scheme of things.

Especially when Romo schools him with a spin move. Still chuckling over that one.

and nothing to say to you when you deny the obvious that all the breaks and luck went his way during 2007. None so blind as will not see and you certainly qualify.
