After facing pretty much all defenses ranked in the top half of the league (and a few in the top 5 or 10), Dallas now gets to face Detroit---
who has the worst-ranked Total Defense (428 ypg) and Scoring Defense (34ppg) in the entire NFL.

Dallas should be able to put up at least the league average of 34 points on these guys.

Perfect timing for Dak to get in a groove.

I'm not in that group that said Rush > Prescott...not even close.
But don't even think about comparing how the offense does in this game vs facing real defenses. This Detroit defense is truly awful.

The Lions do have a solid offense though, so the D will have to show up.

Detroit is going to go one way or the other.

They will be competitive like they were against Philly and scare the crap out of us.

Or they’ll stink like they did against New England.

They have some guys like Swift and Williams who if they play could make this game a nightmare

It's still the nfl. Dak could be and probably will be very rusty.

We are putting up 30 points. I just hope we don't get in the habit of being pass happy based on Detroits terrible defense.

I'm guessing Dallas scores 20 to 25 in this game and Dak looks average to good. Unless the defense has multiple TO's.

Detroit can run really well, but that’s the only thing that should keep them in the game. I would expect Dallas vs Philly, but in reverse. 28-20 Cowboys, Goff is the one who throws the picks, Michael Gallup is your AJ brown against that defense, and Dak plays fairly safe in his first game back

and weve also faced MANY bad OLs as well, you saying our D is overrated? they got to feed on bad OLs up until the eagle's game and then got manhandled the first half?? that what we are doing here right making assumptions and statements before the game making claims if we are successful and explosive it means nothing. Sounds like a rushphobic , those that say they aren't are actually the ones that are LOL..did rush face the best defense in the league game 1, the bucs were..hmm he sure got lucky.

each game is different, dont care what their averages were .. new week new, matchup..

Offense is amazing, defense is terrible. But nice to see you are already thinking of excuses to discredit Dak. LOL

not if Lions shorten the game with 36 runs and long drives etc betting closer to 25-27 we stay on track with a run game and pass off of it easing dak back in .now with some defensive TOS maybe.

I dont think that will happen. Our run d isn't as bad as stats indicate. We may have to play with less aggression though, because often times we are running past the ball carrier en route to the quarterback.

I will say Swift is special when healthy and Williams is just a good all around back.

Just win the football game. This talk that Dak needs to score 30+ is the last thing we need. We need a Dak prescott that is focused on moving the chains and not turning the football over. We have the run game to succeed, we have the defense to succeed. Lets not turn the ball over. Lets not try to make big plays when the easy one that moves the marker is wide open. Let's not get it in his head that Dak needs to put up 5tds or else he will be compared to Cooper Rush. Keep the defense rested and on the sidelines, rack up first downs, make sure we end possessions with kicks, and Dak can play MVP if we get into a shootout in the process. We do that we win a whole lot of football games. We revert back to Dak slinging the ball 40+ times every game and abandon the run I don't see this team beating top teams in the conference.

I don't care how many points we score as long we get the W.

Just saying that we score more, well, we are facing by far (and not even close) the worst D we have faced all year.....so don't go overboard with the hype as every single team has scored a lot on these guys.
Take the win and move on.
