I have been reading this board for a few years, and what I will never understand is WHY DO YOU HATE YOUR OWN QB MORE THEN JUST BEING A FAN OF THE COWBOYS. DUMB AS HELL TO ME!! I want the COWBOYS to win no matter who is the QB. If you hate a QB so much, root for the team after he is gone. Life would be so much better for all.

It probably isn’t but the cowboys will think it is. The same thing happened last year going into the game against Denver. Everyone thought Dak would be back and we would steam roll the Broncos. But the Broncos ended up producing the template for neutering Dak and that was the end of it. Man never recovered after that
Could happen, but I wouldn't predict it.
This place will melt down if we lose at home to Detroit.

I hope we still focus on the run game and taking snaps under center, then Dak should feast on play action. Just hope he doesn’t audible too much out of run game especially near goal line.

It’s not hate, it’s pointing out that by not properly identifying what you have in Dak has cause this franchise to waste time and resources. Take for instance when Dez was released and we failed to replace him. Instead they thought that Dak was good enough to elevate Beasley into a #1 receiver. It basically cost this franchise #1 pick. All because you thought that you had a thoroughbred when what you had was a basic plough horse.

Dak comes back and throws 4tds cause of all the stuff he learned while watching on the sidelines.

Joking aside I see no reason why we shouldn't move the ball at ease this game.

Stream it off nflbites. It usually works well for me. I'm in Texas but I don't pay for cable.
Really? I can't get nflbites to work to save my life. Buffering.

As far as the game, we had better beat Detroit because I dislike them. I don't think the Cowboys have lost to the Lions during the Dak and Zeke era. I hope we continue that streak or I will be very upset. It's personal.

When Garbage comes to Town, Mayor Prescott will be ready baby!!!!:muttley:
Exactly, but supposedly wasn't ready against the eagles,bs...they were protecting him like a baby, although all last week,he was saying how good he felt and bragged about throwing hard and with pop even CD said it,but they would rather take the loss against the eagles in a massive game then to put Prescott in,but had no problem playing Romo on Thanksgiving day when he clearly wasn't ready but Romo went out there anyway but let's let Rush take the l and put Prescott in against one of the worst teams in football... totally gutless decision.

Could it be possible that Dak needs a confidence boost, now that he's "back in the saddle?" :flagwave:

Whether he does or not, he's likely to get one, seeing as how Detroit has such an anemic defense.

Needless to say, Detroit's offense has improved, although, their defense has its lingering problems.

We coddle our most inept QB why you may ask........because the Beverly hillbillies are our owners and GM and ya why not coaches!
6 years 1 playoff win and simply cannot beat playoff-bound teams and we coddle Teflon Dak.

Yeah, but I learned to only use the chrome browser. It works pretty well for me. There is occasional buffering, but it usually stops after a couple minutes. Buffstreams has also been fairly good.

I quit paying for cable and home phone years ago, haven't missed either one. TV is junk in my humble opinion.

Yup me too. I live in College Station and often times won't get the network broadcast, but I had a long range outdoor antenna that did awesome. Just need to order another and not worry about streaming.

I’m sorry but I’m hoping for a good ole I don’t have to pause the game to pee blow out game. It probably won’t happen but I need it after all these weeks! These nail biters are stressful and Noon games suck as I can’t anything done yet!

Lol Dak coming off an injury and the worst game of his career and y’all really think he’s gonna light it up? What a joke. Hopefully the defense can contain the explosive Lions offense. A lot of people are thinking this is a walkover game but it is not.
Especially with them coming off a bye. We will get their best shot.

It's 35 points or bust.

A win only scoring 20ish wasn't good enough for some with Rush at QB, so I expect the same energy if it happens with Dak.

The issue isn’t scoring 20ish points, it’s that Rush wasn’t responsible for many of those points. We scored 22 points against LA and Rush was a meaningful contributor to 3 of them.

And it’s fine to win games that way, it’s just not sustainable.

That being said there’s no reason to expect us not to score in the 30s-40s this game.

After facing pretty much all defenses ranked in the top half of the league (and a few in the top 5 or 10), Dallas now gets to face Detroit---
who has the worst-ranked Total Defense (428 ypg) and Scoring Defense (34ppg) in the entire NFL.

Dallas should be able to put up at least the league average of 34 points on these guys.

Perfect timing for Dak to get in a groove.

I'm not in that group that said Rush > Prescott...not even close.
But don't even think about comparing how the offense does in this game vs facing real defenses. This Detroit defense is truly awful.

The Lions do have a solid offense though, so the D will have to show up.

Doesn’t matter who we play, we have a better chance of winning with Dak at the helm. Many QB studs are having pretty rough starts to the year, including Brady and Rodgers.

We need to lean on our running game to keep Detroit's offense off the field. Given who our OC is, I won't hold my breath.
