Good Timing For Dak as Detroit has 32nd ranked Defense (34ppg)

Lol Dak coming off an injury and the worst game of his career and y’all really think he’s gonna light it up? What a joke. Hopefully the defense can contain the explosive Lions offense. A lot of people are thinking this is a walkover game but it is not.

These are the games I hate…where a team has a crappy offense and/or defense that create favorable match-ups, so the Cowboys should have their way with them. I think that breeds complacency and we don’t want the Cowboys coming out thinking they can just go through the motions and win. I think the Cowboys have a history of playing down to their competition. The NFCE is a beast this year and we are going to need every win, so we cannot give games away.

After facing pretty much all defenses ranked in the top half of the league (and a few in the top 5 or 10), Dallas now gets to face Detroit---
who has the worst-ranked Total Defense (428 ypg) and Scoring Defense (34ppg) in the entire NFL.

Dallas should be able to put up at least the league average of 34 points on these guys.

Perfect timing for Dak to get in a groove.

I'm not in that group that said Rush > Prescott...not even close.
But don't even think about comparing how the offense does in this game vs facing real defenses. This Detroit defense is truly awful.

The Lions do have a solid offense though, so the D will have to show up.
Don’t sleep on the Lions. They’re not as bad as their record indicates.

Detroit's offense is in the top 10 in passing and rushing. They are 3rd in scoring and 2nd in yards gained.

But here is the challenge for the Cowboys defense. Detroit has allowed only 7 sacks in 5 games, tied for the fewest in the NFL.

Stream it off nflbites. It usually works well for me. I'm in Texas but I don't pay for cable.
I quit paying for cable and home phone years ago, haven't missed either one. TV is junk in my humble opinion.

But Dak is playing this game, so should be an easy win, right?
Depends. But you wouldn’t understand that. Lions will be fired up for this game. Football at this level is more mental than physical. Everyone is going to be picking the Cowboys to win.

Wow, you flop like a fish out of water! You are so pro Dak and now you are not sure he can win this game? lmao.

Well, I guess the excuses are getting ready, just in case.

This is the NFL. Jets just beat the Packers. Any given Sunday. Not surprised you don’t get that. Couch potatoes usually don’t.

Offensive lines around the league are decimated.
Teams like the Rams have a line full of practice squad players, for example

But the Detroit o-line is one of the few playing at a high level

Btw, Dallas' oline is very good compared to he vast majority of teams this year. Not sure why we have so many complaining about it.

They have had some rough losses.

I know the Eagles got healthier, but they only lost to them 38-35 in week one
48-45 loss to Seattle too. lol

Ouch.

Anyway, I'm not sure this is an overall easy opponent, but the D certainly is. And getting them at home is even better.
It probably isn’t but the cowboys will think it is. The same thing happened last year going into the game against Denver. Everyone thought Dak would be back and we would steam roll the Broncos. But the Broncos ended up producing the template for neutering Dak and that was the end of it. Man never recovered after that
