why would I know your personal history? LOL

Your posting history is well known.

Owners didnt get to where they are without lots of risk and hard work. They deserve everything they get and a lot of people depend on them for jobs and lively hood. Its people like that that are the heartbeat of the economy and capitalism. Not some spoiled little brat players that think they don't get paid enough.
You’ve said you followed me on the old Cowboys forum . Everyone knew my personal history.

And the owners wouldn’t pay the players if they didn’t feel they were worth it or the money wasn’t there.

I don’t suppose your old enough to recall when the owners didn’t or couldn’t pay the players enough.

If you have an issue with Goodell then you have an issue with who employs him. The NFL owners.
It's more than just the NFL owners. It's every person in authority that goes along with the big lie that that shutdown and isolation is the answer.

I understand this much, he is no Pete Rozelle and never will be. He's a charlatan. The handful of owners that empower him are also to blame...ie JERRY. Goodell is replaceable. You his agent btw?
I was a huge Rozelle fan. But Pete didn’t have the issues that’s confronted the NFL in recent years.

Of course Goodell is replaceable but the owners instead rewarded him with a new contract.

And it’s not a handful of owners who support him. 75% or 24 owners must vote him in or out if they want a change.

Obviously we have fans who still can’t see the forest for the trees . The hostility towards Goodell is a great example of the tremendous buffering he’s conducting.

Gathering everyone normally certainly isn’t the answer if you’re interested in saving lives.

goodell is not great Comish!

hes made the league SOFT, his rulings and punishments ride the line of bias per a team or player, hes allowed poor reffing and new rules that he also allowed refs to ignore and actual control game to point it looks as conspiracy to control outcomes, and lastly he makes 25mil per year to be bad.. talk about Jerry the GM with his lifetime contract, Mr Comish is bad and still has job..hes ruining football..
when are the flag football proposals coming..?

Actually Goodell is not on the rules committees.

And the owners are so pleased with the job he’s doing they are actually paying him over 40 million a year now.

Most likely your grievances like many fans are more with the owners and player association than the Commish who is put in place by the owners to negotiate on their behalf.

Hes the head of the NFL and IMHO the NFL is in decline for all those reasons..he has the power to have any of those things by creating challenges to them..

No, he’s the Commish. Not the head of the NFL. He’s a representative of the owners.

He has no authority in implementing or changing rules of the game. No wonder so many fans are misguided with their hostility.

Yep

And he embraces the booing like no other we’ve seen before in which he rises above in remarkable fashion.

My hunch is history is going to be very favorable on his tenure during this era in NFL.
He's actually made that booing a thing. He catches the blame for everything fans don't like about the NFL including trying to protect the players and keeping the CTE issue from wrecking the league.

While he is the final authority with disciplinary measures with owners, coaches and players, he doesn't act in a vacuum and has people around him advising him. There probably wasn't a happier guy around when they dumped pot as a substance.

He showed me something when he dealt with NE, he used to stay at Kraft's place and went to their Christmas party. He disciplined the owner, HC and QB. He survived the charge Booger made at him because he was pissed that Goodell was getting all his bad boys.

There is not any person in that position that the fans would like that had to deal with the litany of challenges he's had to deal with to protect the shield and keep the owners happy.

The fact they got every game in this season is a remarkable feat. And he didn't have cooperation from all the clubs in accomplishing that.

Where do you get that idea? The owners have committees that address a variety of issues, he only has autonomy is dealing with the disciplinary issues that affect the image. Hen doesn't establish policy without the owners approval. The Commissioner of the NFL is set up just as they did baseball after the Black Sox.

still dont like him..the zeke thing was just the beginning how he handled punishments they were ridiculously uneven, unpredictable and fat unfair..that alone was debacle. You won't change my mind..its smacks of Team Bias..he needs more oversight for his oversight..

WE ARE HOSTILE because HE is shutting us out and equally hostile and dismissive of fans and of the quality of the sport. Most fans are FB purests.

This isn’t directed at you but it’s apparent than many fans aren’t even aware who’s pulling his strings.

We actually have fans who believe he’s making rule changes. And runs the league. lol

It’s protecting the image of the league.

Imagine if there were no suspensions relying solely on the law to address players conduct. Tiger Woods is a good example as sponsors abandoned him. What if sponsors started abandoning the league pulling out on TV ads. We’ve seen this happen on other celebrities.

This is what the owners empower him for. To protect the sum or the league from individual owners and teams agendas who aren’t as likely to discipline themselves.
