What I want to know is where was the media in all this? When those texts were first released I figured it was an open and shut case. Then you didn't hear any more about it until now. When the media harks on something they never let it go. I guess a woman threatening to ruin an NFL player doesn't cut it.

Where's the media with:

1. The NFL freely admitting that they demanded Elliott to explain where Thompson got her bruises from. In no form of law, be it criminal or civil, would somebody's guilt or innocence be dependent on them being able to figure out what happened to the victim. It is guilty until proven innocent at its worse.

2. Peter Harvey stating that Tiffany Thompson was an eyewitness to her own accusation.

3. The fact that Thompson got into a fist fight with some woman, then went to EE's party (despite specifically being told that she was not invited) and them almost got into a physical altercation with another female all within 1 hour. Where is the portrayal that this is likely a hostile and violent individual that could have easily gotten those bruises from getting into a fight with another female since she seems to have a real faculty for doing so.

To me the media is playing the PR game as well. They don't want to bring up these points until they feel it is safe enough to do so by the court of public opinion.

It seems as though the media has already decided he is guilty. Even if they don't come out and say it, they say it will at least be a wake up call to make him grow up. Well unless he is proven guilty, this is not the right form of a wake up call.

We are not hearing a peep from the media about the conflicting evidence and the fact that she might be making it up. It's like the are taking the leagues word for it on the investigation without questioning any of it.

I'm sorry, but with all the things that she made up, I don't see how you can punish zeke without concrete proof. Anyone can take pictures of bruises and accuse someone of making them

So this is like Judge Judy not listening to testimony and getting a recap from Byrd the bailiff. Got it.

Don't give him any ideas. I can see him holding court on NFL Network. Imagine the ratings. Imagine the income.

They already have idiotic shows dedicated to showing NFL players and their tricked out cars, why not.

The product on the field is so irrelevant any more.

At this stage, I think that is less valued than it ever has been.

It is only sixteen weeks. And that is getting more and more minimized.

who is on top?
That is the common denominator.....not seeing masculin qualities, that may be the cause of many of their little spats. Goodell makes it up to him by suspending as many Cowboys players as possible atleast for the season opener, hence the reason for opening against the giants every year........personally, I'll be glad when their lovefest is over.

Cowlishaw doesn't think it matters that RG did not attend the hearing. In fact, he thinks it was a wise move and actually HELPS the league's position.

It helps the NFL. RG assigned the committee the responsibility to determine if conduct was violated. RG just acted on the committee's finding. RG keeps himself clean - he is only the decision maker on punishment, not the decider on whether conduct code was violated.

Elliott's defense is largely barking up the wrong tree (on most things).
