Also, I really think people need to stop looking at things from their perspective.
Just because a person makes millions of dollars doesn't mean they aren't "underpaid" based upon the compensation of others that are in their industry and how much money their "talent" generates for others.
yes, agreed. but you can out-demand yourself out of work.
In the United States of America, businesses create the work, and employees do it. The cost of labor is based on the market and supply / demand. Big labor unions, like in the big 3 auto, drive businesses into the ground because they ask for more than their worth and means. Look who has to bail them out so that those same labor unions can continue with their extravagant wages and benefits, driving the business into the ground. Not all labor unions are bad, but they can be too big and generally make you worse off.
I think 59% of all team revenue going into the NFL player pool is very high and should be cut back. I think the labor union demand of 70% is way too high, and it should be more like 47-50% range.
