I have no problem with Player's salaries or anybody else's for that matter going up.

This is the United States of America and person should be able to make as much money as someone is willing to pay.

Also, I really think people need to stop looking at things from their perspective.

Just because a person makes millions of dollars doesn't mean they aren't "underpaid" based upon the compensation of others that are in their industry and how much money their "talent" generates for others.

yes, agreed. but you can out-demand yourself out of work.

In the United States of America, businesses create the work, and employees do it. The cost of labor is based on the market and supply / demand. Big labor unions, like in the big 3 auto, drive businesses into the ground because they ask for more than their worth and means. Look who has to bail them out so that those same labor unions can continue with their extravagant wages and benefits, driving the business into the ground. Not all labor unions are bad, but they can be too big and generally make you worse off.

I think 59% of all team revenue going into the NFL player pool is very high and should be cut back. I think the labor union demand of 70% is way too high, and it should be more like 47-50% range.

The owners will not go above what has already been done- as a matter of fact they want it lowered so that they can put money into a stadium pool. With public money dried up that is the only way some teams are going to get new stadiums. I hope the union is not too stupid and arrogant-because the owners are quite willing to do a lockout. The last contract tilted too far to the players-so no way do they even keep what they got.
