Goose gives Dallas a D

It's only a coincidence, sir, that your opinion and Gosselin's match right now. Goose makes his evaluations on where players are selected in relation to where they were slotted in his final board. OTOH, you had problems with the team not addressing certain team needs with certain players at Dallas' original draft slots. There is a difference, you know. Maybe you should consult Eisen..?

Next year we should trade all our picks to draft the highest rated person on Gooses draft. That way highest Grade 100% divided by 1 draft pick = the highest grade average. 100%!! SUPERBOWL !!!!

I gave the draft a Grade D, also.

:laugh2:

It would be interesting to know how Gosselin rated Mike Ditka's drafting of Ricky Williams. :)

Thank you.

It's nice to know, I'm not alone.
I would show you how your EEG doesn't match Gosselin's, but that's protected health information.

What's wrong with his grade? He is grading this year's draft picks not next year's. He praised the two tackles we got, which I agree with. Spencer is a good pick, nothing flashy like Ware was. Aside from that, does anyone here really think our draft was special?

We got no starters from any of our draft picks.........................

Gosselin's idiotic draft grades are based on a flawed formula -- he simply takes the average rating of all of the players you select, then converts that to a letter grade. He doesn't take into account where the picks that you have are and the comparative value that you get out of those picks. So if you have very few first-day picks and lots of second-day picks, you're going to get a low grade. And he doesn't take into account trading for future draft picks, either.

Right!

And keep in mind that his knowledge of NFL talent comes from real NFL personnel. His draft grade is HIS opinion based on HIS talent evaluation criteria. Don't lose any sleep over it.

he aslo gave the Chargers and the Pats a D....I think I don't mind keeping company with the Chargers and the Pats

Its no suprise that the biggest Cowboys basher in the press gave us the same grade as the biggest Cowboy bashers on this forum ....

If Nors or the wonder Twins were here ..... they would have hated this draft as well.

;)

i'll say it once more - look at your own "source" -

they list QB as a need for us. is it? NO!
worse yet - they say we filled it w/stanback - WE DIDN'T.

if you don't want people to think you're stupid, quit following stupid things.

Goose gave Miami a B. :lmao2:

huh? i thought reaches were supposed to cost you and Ginn at 9 is a TOTAL WASTE and REACH.

From Great Blue North

Meanwhile, other teams which appear to have solid drafts include both New York teams, Jacksonville, Arizona, New Orleans, Tampa Bay, Oakland, and Detroit. Dallas also added several players who should contribute, plus get a ton of bonus points for picking up a likely top 5-10 pick at the 2008 draft for dropping down all of four spots late in the opening round.

That,s right. His post draft grades have always been without true merit. Even he admits its flawed. His forte is ranking players for the draft and his inside knowledge of what teams are interested in what players.

They also show LB as not being filled, but the team selected Spencer in the first to play LB.

Well, I hope that we don't start lumping Gosselin in with most naysayers. At least, he can argue that his grades are based on his formula. It may or may not be correct, but there is some logic involved.

Now, can the same be said of bashers who have seen their pet cats turned into roadkill and hang on the every word of this guy?
