If Nors or the wonder Twins were here ..... they would have also hated this draft as well.

He almost exclusively gives the good grades to the teams that draft high or have multiple first round picks. That will be us next year. We honestly sacrificed our grade a little this year for next year. Its all part of the game.

Gosselin's idiotic draft grades are based on a flawed formula -- he simply takes the average rating of all of the players you select, then converts that to a letter grade. He doesn't take into account where the picks that you have are and the comparative value that you get out of those picks. So if you have very few first-day picks and lots of second-day picks, you're going to get a low grade. And he doesn't take into account trading for future draft picks, either.

Gosselin has such a fine reputation. It is pitiful that he doesn't have a more sophistocated formula. As it is, it appears that he's simply lazy.

He owes it to himself to rethink his system.

Goose is so obviously Cowboys biased every time he talks. He hates being in Dallas, I think.

For instance, he says Arizona reached with their 1st and 3rd RD picks, and only had three other picks, but he gives them a C.

He says he likes Dallas 2nd and 4th pick, does not mention their first (who was def not a reach and a steal according to some), totally discounts the extra first, and gives us a D.

I hate Goose -- he's a biased-assgnome

I don't mind his whine as much as his near total disregard in evaluating the entire draft outside a "need only" concept. That's as narrow-minded as my viewpoint of the salary cap. Darn it.

If you'll follow my example, keep bugging him about it. He won't directly answer your question, but, after a few hours, he will reply back to you.
