That's true, but Dak was also still there in the 4th round because when NFL scouts looked at him, they saw a developmental project. He was running the spread at Miss. State, taking snaps from the shotgun and doing a lot of read option.

Due to the recent examples of prominent, successful QB's that ran the spread in college only to flame out in the pros, of which Tebow, Vince Young and RGIII come to mind, nobody could have predicted Dak picking up the pro style offense this quickly.

Yes, knowing what they know NOW, if the draft was done over, I could see Dak going 3rd or even possible 2nd. But you can't fault teams for grading him as a mid round pick.

well if your going by they have seen up to now, I think Dak would go # 1 !!!!!!!!

As I said before any RB can run behind our OL. That's what I've been told. If it holds for the QB then it holds for the RB. I don't believe in either. The OL is part of it but not the whole thing.

Yes any RB can run behind the line but not every RB is elite.

Goose, is being an idiot like always. He has been counting on us to lose games every week, and the only thing he has is the statement he said about being in the right place at the right time. He is usually on the Cowboys Insider every Wednesday He picked us to lose to the Giants and we did, then thought we would lose to the deadskins, he picked us to beat the Bears, but he thought the 9ers would beat us, and definitely the bengals and the packers, and you know what he has not been on the Cowboys Insider since we beat the 9ers. I am willing to bet as soon as we lose another game he will pop on on the show again

To be fair, we were not going to win the game against Carolina with him. We were getting our butts kicked before he got hurt. Losing Romo was big last year, but it was far from our only issue.....
