well if your going by they have seen up to now, I think Dak would go # 1 !!!!!!!!That's true, but Dak was also still there in the 4th round because when NFL scouts looked at him, they saw a developmental project. He was running the spread at Miss. State, taking snaps from the shotgun and doing a lot of read option.
Due to the recent examples of prominent, successful QB's that ran the spread in college only to flame out in the pros, of which Tebow, Vince Young and RGIII come to mind, nobody could have predicted Dak picking up the pro style offense this quickly.
Yes, knowing what they know NOW, if the draft was done over, I could see Dak going 3rd or even possible 2nd. But you can't fault teams for grading him as a mid round pick.
he said his goal was to make every team sorry they passed on him for 4 rounds.
