Roy Williams is terrible

if that had been Austin or Bryant no one would have caught either of them

he cost us a game - wheres that famous HOOK'EM HORNS SIGN NOW

Mr. Irrelevant = Roy Williams

should not be on the team next year

2011-$5.109 million
2012-$6.802 million

damn RW for giving up 30 points including that 90 yard drive after his fumble. Damn RW for being one of 5 or 6 players that didn't quit on the season. HOOK EM

Williams did make the 3rd down conversion, but the defender made an awesome strip. He is a good receiver, but I do think he will be let go for salary cap reasons.

got to say it: UNO you are worse than Kartr ever was. You only ever post how you hate Roy. Please find another team to "root" for.

If it was Austin, there's a good chance he drops it, they punt and have an even shorter field to the end zone.

Its like guys have been waiting for Roy to screw up all season long and they finally got it. Seems like some of you wished for this to happen and you had your posts on standbuy. And no one would've caught Miles or Dez? Really?

If Austin races to make a better block, maybe Roy doesn't get caught in the first place.

Just saying.

Roy simply made a mistake. Cut the man a break. It's not like even if the Cowboys had won, they would be going to the playoffs. They were too far in a hole.

I was going to lol at the first response to this thread, then the next, then the next.. im just glad people realize how much of an agenda this guy has against Roy.

Its to the point where i know what he's going to say before i even read the post.

:laugh2:

No we got it in the Bears game.

I love Roy Williams. I love the guys attitude and how he handles himself. Especially the progression he has shown this year.

But the guy is a cursed loser. That play sums up his entire career.

He made a critical mistake. Go down or run out of bounds and we win that game. He also made some good plays.

Playcalling, especially at the end, was horrible. I'm warming up to Garrett but he needs an experienced Offensive Coordinator if he gets the gig. He may be what we need at Head Coach but his playcalling has been and still is an issue.

Newman got beat badly but where was Alan Ball? Watch the replay and Ball committed way too early to the other WR. For that matter, Dave Campo really needs to go. In fact, I hope all of the defensive coaches are let go.

We made some bigtime mistakes but we also fought back and almost won a game we had no business winning. Watching today's game was 1000 times better than the Jacksonville and Green Bay games.

Anyone who acknowledges Roy's hard work and good attitude all year and committment to doing whatever it takes to help this team win, yet calls him out because he is simply "a curse" or "a loser" really makes me wonder why they'd even waste a post saying something that silly.

If all our guys worked as hard as he has this year, and had the same attitude we'd be in a MUCH better spot right now. He does whatever it takes, he's made huge blocks all year, made plays, he was Tony's go to guy in the red zone before he got injured

..saying he's a loser or a curse is just plain dumb.

He made a mistake today.. so did about 20 other players. His mistake wasn't any better or worse than anyone elses. We played sloppy as an entire unit today and we lost. That's what happens. To single out any one player as losing the game themself is losing touch with reality imo.

Roy wasn't being careless with the ball, and he was playing to win with good effort. The defender made an awesome strip.

I agree, he needs to hire a really good offensive coordinator.

Yes...

Loving Jason the HC but he is maddening as an OC.

His Goal line formations in the middle of the field make me so angry.

At least throw a pass out of that formation once in awhile to keep teams honest.

The game management could've been better too. That 4th and 1... Come on.

Not getting any yards on that last drive to set up at worst a 55 yard field goal instead of a 59... Ugghh..

Buehler gave a heck of an effort even getting it that far though. He almost sinked it.

I think Roy played a heck of a game, and the DB did make a good play to rip it out, but at the end of a close game you put two hands on the ball when you know your main objective in that situation is not to lose the ball. Even when he first caught that pass the defender was right next to him on his left side. He should have seen him or looked back at the very least. No excuses.. but Roy didn't lose the game for us either.

The Bears game? The one where the refs should've blown the play dead because of forward progress and he fumbled? Roy has been solid this season. Or I take that back. He's been dependable. IT was discouraging to see him fumble today because he was having a good afternoon. He saved the Cowboys but numerous times today.

True. The Bears fumble was a completely blown call.

why the grin on his face ?

http://boards.espn.go.com/boards/mb/mb?sport=nfl&id=dal&tid=7823683my gawd how much sucking does it take for you guys to see

hes not fast - it takes a pro Wr 2 yrs to get in sinc with our starting QB

Roy is a loser came from a loser team DET has that ingrained in his pyshce
he will never be a winner on a winning team

its his loser attitude

So who’s at fault? Well, if Romo is on the same page with all of the other wideouts and he isn’t on the same page with the guy who has underachieved from the moment he arrived,

I think it’s safe to say that Williams might be the problem

he does not care plus he has aready cashed his 13 mil check this year

Like Mike Jenkins said

you can't just blame Roy when Brees completes passes at will. The defense needed to make a stand just like Roy needed to protect the ball. The game was lost by a combination of mistakes across the team.
