No, Roy did not lose the game all by himself, Newman helped him out.:(

Roy and Newman choked in crunch time, but that is what losers do.

Roy doesn't make the block that sprang Miles for the long TD run earlier we're down 7 less points. Think of the situation we'd have been in then.

Its not that hard to understand. You win as a team, you lose as a team. 7 fumbles. Felix has fumbled twice the last two games.. that make him a loser too?

Roy wasn't being careless with the ball, and he was playing to win with good effort. The defender made an awesome strip.
But really? Could our opponent actually make a play? Naw, not in a million years. Was Roys fault had nothing to do with the outstanding determination and hustle of the opposing player.

Turn Overs decide games.

Williams had the game in his hands and didn't protect the game.

"Should have been the game winner right there. Roy did everything right, except secure the football".

Sterling Sharpe (NFL Network/former NFL WR)

It's just like a shortstop letting a routine pop fly pop out of his glove in the ninth inning of a tight game. You give good teams extra outs, like the Phillies, and you will pay. Hits and homeruns can happen. Ask Mariano Rivera about his 3B not stepping on third base in the World Series. The Yankees paid the price.

Today, Brees got an extra out in the ninth inning and hit a homerun. Brees should have never had one more chance to win the game. Dallas' defense has hardly been dominate this season. This game should have been on ice right there.

Williams not only gave the Saints an "extra out", he left the bases loaded with the count in Dallas' favor.

Even with the fumble Roy atleast put the Saints on the 10 yard line. It sucks that Roy fumbled but there is no excuse for giving up 89 yards in less than a minute. None. And I don't even fault all of the players on that one. Newman had no safety help at all. Whether that's by design or by lack of skill. He had none.

uno maybe hates Roy more than Kartr loved Q which I thought was impossible.

He made a critical mistake. Go down or run out of bounds and we win that game. He also made some good plays.

Playcalling, especially at the end, was horrible. I'm warming up to Garrett but he needs an experienced Offensive Coordinator if he gets the gig. He may be what we need at Head Coach but his playcalling has been and still is an issue.

Newman got beat badly but where was Alan Ball? Watch the replay and Ball committed way too early to the other WR. For that matter, Dave Campo really needs to go. In fact, I hope all of the defensive coaches are let go.

We made some bigtime mistakes but we also fought back and almost won a game we had no business winning. Watching today's game was 1000 times better than the Jacksonville and Green Bay games.

I gotta agree with you here as well.

Alan Ball should have been deep as well covering that pass. Newman should not have been 1 on 1 with the receiver.

I also think that Garrett needs to hand the playcalling to someone else. Even Aikman mentioned it also. He didn't call a perfect game but it was good enough to win. But there were other aspects of the game that we lacked such as the 2 minute drill. I think Garrett will be a good headcoach and I certainly like the results that I see from the team. But playcalling is not his strengths and its something I really feel he should give to someone else.

RW did protect the ball, he saw the defender to his right and switched the ball to his left--TOs happen

I'm just annoyed because we had it won against a mouthy saints team and gave it away--but I feel worse for those guys that actually played their butts off to get back in the game
