Gotta love Randle's comments

You have to know he is so very embarrassed being in the public eye.

Then to face your teammates, who now look at you differently.

But he stood in front of the press and answered their questions. Didn't make excuses. Took this bit of medicine like a man.

Good for you, Randle.

Each tough question they asked, he sort of paused and must have been thinking, "how did I get here?"

But each time he answered it like a man.

He may never live this down, .. but I am pulling for him to put this behind him by his actions, ... on the field and off.

He handled it well. Hard to be upset with a kid who's sitting there and not lashing out and just taking it all in. I knew what type of character he was when I saw how much he's improved from last year to this year. He doesn't even look like the same back. It looks like his cuts are quicker and he's faster as a back and has burst. He clearly spent his offseason getting better. I hated to hear that he was the one who got caught doing this.

Yes he let us down. We all make mistakes in life. He showed sincerity with his heartfelt apologies. He's forgiven. Lets move onto the Giants.

I really never felt that he let us down.

His coaches, his teammates, his family, yes.

But I bet several guys in that locker room realized that they have done as much, if not worse that Randle did, .. except they never got caught.

I'm sure the team have all forgiven him and moved on, ... and you are right, .. let's go kick the Giants butt.

-cool cake-

I was calling for his head on Tuesday. It was good to see him so contrite. He manned up. I still have confidence in him. And dang he looked good in limited snaps in Seattle.

I'm fine im with him manning up and owning it. But why didn't they ask the question we all want to know? Why did he do it? What was he doing and thinking?

He was thinking he wanted him some fresh undies and to smell good. He was thinking he didn't want to pay for them. His actions followed his thoughts soon thereafter.

This. He has the maturity to understand what is needed of his profession and did it in the off season via strength/conditioning/coaching, etc. I wrote him off as a RB with FB quickness (was wrong). Maybe it was simply for the rush? Many common folks do this for no apparent reason and that seems to be the underlying factor "Just wanted to see if I could get away with it...the simple thrill of walking out of the store, etc." Kleptomaniacs seem to do it just about anywhere/everywhere but this is a tad different.

Had to be, .. we all know he can afford anything at the mall that he wants.

Nothing like getting something for nothing though.

I did some stuff like this when I was his age, or younger, .. just never got caught.

They players should have stuffed his locker full of underwear and Guilty Black cologne before he got in.......

If he performs this Sunday like he did in Seattle, it will all be forgotten. That's all he needs is to have a good game and people/fans will forget. If he struggles like a fumble or missed block assignments it will linger.
Brent will be the same way when he takes the field.

It puzzles me why he would shoplift, but I never thought it was worth releasing him and I think it is way too much of an overreaction to want to cut him because he shoplifted.

At the most it concerns me. Criminals have the attitude of why buy something when you can steal it instead? So, I wonder about his background or his line of thinking. But, if we were to cut him the punishment would not fit the crime. Instead, the team should fine him for behavior unbecoming of the organization and get him some counseling.
