Grade the pick: Round 4 LT Overton

As a late 4th it's a good pick. I gave it a B-
He isn't going to make them SB contenders, but he makes them a better overall team. He fits a specific need as a base 3/4 DE, of which they are very thin.

He’s definitely not a pass rusher but as a 4i he brings toughness, physicality, and effort to the defensive front. He helps Parker start a change to a physical defense that wears offenses out and that teams have a hard time running against.

Good defenses need these kinds of players too. I’m fine spending a late 4th on that guy.
