I don't buy these draft grades. I like to project where the players will be 3-4 years from now. The best 4-3 DT's are usually 6"1/6"2 and around 300 pounds. Being 6"4 like Malcolm brown is a disadvantage for him. I don't like the leverage he plays with. I like two DT's that are quick and can penetrate.

This is pretty interesting because Brown is almost the same player, from the standpoint of penetration and quickness. The difference between the two is that Brown is also stout against the run.

The more I think about it, the more I wonder if he could lose some weight and play strictly as a 3tech.

He does tend to look like a fat version of Aaron Donald. At the exact same height he outweighs Donald by 19 pounds.

I would think that if Aaron Donald gained 19 pounds that his ten yard and agility times would be very similar to Jarrett's.

I guess it's possible that he already lost weight for the combine and losing more is not possible, but he seems heavy for his frame.
