Is that going to be what we experience this year? If TO cant come back to play, or if/when he does and he isnt the same, is our Offense going to be very pedestrian? Last year they doubled Glenn, but we had Keyshawn. Without TO they double Glenn, and we have who? Crayton? I dont feel comfortable with Crayton 1 on 1 with a 2nd CB. If TO is not up to speed we are in touble.

1) It's way too premature to be speculating about TO not being able to come back to play effectively...

2) Even without TO, the Boys rank 4th in total offense this preseason, at 369.5 yards per game... they rank 2nd in passing offense, at 260.5 yards per game (and they've thrown the ball less than 25 times a game)...

You call that "putrid"??

Yeah im being a realist.

That's what you pessimists always say when you're spewing negativity...

But absent any inside information from TO's trainers, you're SPECULATING, which is not the same thing as "being realistic"...

You're ASSUMING that TO won't be able to heal up, and play effectively... which is pretty ignorant, actually, given the guy came back from a freakin' broken leg to play in a Super Bowl...

If the hamsting didnt heal in 14 days, what makes you think its going to heal in 10 more? There is 19 days until the opener, if he doesnt practice in the 7-9 days leading up he wont play, time is running out on this thing.

And of course, if he's not 100 per cent for the season opener, he never will be all season, right?? Might as well go ahead and put him on IR, stick a fork in him, he's done...

Some "realism"...

I would say your leaning a bit more towards pessimist than realist. We just destroyed New Orleans with both TO and Crayton in a different state.

Granted New Orleans is not that good but

We also handled last year's NFC Super Bowl representative rather easily, a team that turned around and beat the much-touted Colts this past weekend...

And before we get too carried away dissin' the Saints, they did rack up over 400 yards of total offense in their first preseason game (which they won)...
