Only time I seen DLaw when he flopped on the turf trying to catch Brady...

Maybe had different responsibilities. Could be playing run first

Was a complete no show stat wise yesterday. Don't know how many pressures he got...if any.

Definitely needs to step up against the niners.

You guys have got to start watching film not the stat box. D-Law showed up big in the Bucs game. The film would show you that.

The cluelessness of so many on the value of dlaw to the overall defense is astounding. Many of you have been ruined by fantasy football and media elevating certain stats....dlaw is a phenomenal player and a huge reason why the bucs couldn't run and were made to be one dimensional.

Against the 49ers he is a key player for his run stopping ability and will be doubled the whole game.

He's not a sack monster and for the most part never has been...shouldn't be viewed that way...have to look at his role on the team vs just the stats

He takes on blockers and frees up the LBers, I watched a clear example of that when they ran a counter to his side and Fourtnet was behind the blockers, Law took ln the guard and LVE made the tackle. I'm sure if we could watch the tape there are more plays like that trough out the game.

He is important to the run defense, I prefer for him to not show up in sacks and pressures but to contain the edge, when he is too eager for a sack they ran all over his side as philly did on the first game.
Good points and post. I’ve been tough on him the since Monday and it’s probably unfair.

I’m just still bitter that Jerry decided that if he paid him like a sack guy, he would suddenly become one, because that’s how Jerry thinks.

I didn’t like the shoulder thing, but that’s ancient history, and he is at least no longer grossly overpaid, and someone has apparently alerted Jerry that DL isn’t a pass rush guy.

I’m actually a little surprised the Garrett era wasn’t even worse than it was.
