I think the skins caught us unprepared for what they do in the passing game yesterday.

you couldnt see it on the tv broadcast but from the 2nd quarter all the way through to the end of the game, the defensive sideline was a mess. Guys were going on and off the field, spencer almost made us short a guy 3 times.

Newman took a timeout when henry, watkins and roy had no Idea who was supposed to be on the field. That was in the 2nd qtr. Joe buck and troy aikman said nothing about the confusion and you couldnt see any of it on tv. In the stadium this was repeated all afternoon.

So I dont know if we were suprised, unprepared or just lacking focus. There was more to our poor pass defense yesterday than "these guys suck". However you couldnt see the confusion and screaming and pointing by our guys at each other on tv. Newman nearly blew a gasket when he called that timeout and was yelling at brian stewart.

but in the end we gave up a lot of yards, but not that many points for that kind of passing production.

I am in 100% agreement with you on this area. I didn't like the way defense played but there is no way they prepared for that passing attack.

Good stuff theebs..... I definitely couldn't see any of that stuff on TV. It may have been because I was too busy between plays looking for something to break!!

What seats do you have in the stadium? Do you have a good view of our sideline?

December 30th at RFK, it may not end up determining any important advantage in the scheme of things (Last game, and all)...But, it should be a battle, looking forward to it.

Hope we don't see Dallas fielding a 2nd team out there led by Brad Johnson as the conference could conceivably be wrapped up

Thanks S&T. I was impressed with JC. Looks like we could have a QB duel for the next 5 to 7 years with TR & JC. Should be good......

GET YOUR POPCORN READY.......

The Commanders played way above themselves and the Cowboys shot themselves in the foot way too many times but it was a good game and I was relieved when it was over with the Cowboys still ahead on the scoreboard. I kept expecting the Skins to score again up until about midnight.

Pretty smart of Gibbs to lull the Cowboys to sleep about the passing game during the week and hitting them hard with it on Sunday.

Kudos to all the banged up players who put in such heroic efforts yeaterday and almost took the candy away from the Boys.

Hopefully, that will teach the team not to take anyone lightly. They better prepare for both passing and running for the Jets game and not worry about Green Bay until Friday at the earliest.

Thanks S & T. I think you have things to be happy about despite the outcome. I really do. A lot of injuries hampered your team but guys stepped in and played their hearts out. That's all you can ask.

Classy as always.

Heya Hos. I figured I'd come over and give my congrats to ya. I told ya earlier this week that with Taylor out you guys could name the score and sadly, was I right. It was encouraging to see our offense keep us in the game but at the end of the day all that matters is who gets the win. Enjoy 9-1.
