I figure going to the 2 TE set means Polite is on the bubble.

It also explains why Sowell never even got a sniff.

Nice point on Sowell. I hadn't thought of that but I bet you are correct.

BTW hope you had a great time at the draft. I'm sure you did. Would love to go myself someday.:D

I would make every attempt to teach Mat McBriar to kick off. Not saying it would work, but if he could learn and do so effectively, it would save a much needed roster spot.

What happened to the WR position, what if T.O. or Glenn goes down?

We stll need a solid back up WR..

Not much different from last season where we had Key,Glenn and Caryton. Looking at most teams once you get past the 3rd WR on the team the talent level drops off quite a bit.

So, in conclusion to me, if offensive line is fixed, kickoff specialist singned, then only glaring weakness is at experienced QB if Bledsoe goes down. However, reports are coming out now, that Henson is going to make things interesting in preseason for number 2 job at QB with Tony Romo. .
Does it matter which one is #2? Neither one has any NFL experience (to speak of).

And look out, other teams here we come.
Look out US, here comes our schedule!

Hmmm....I am not sure thats a good thing. When hes your target in FA you should pretty much know everything about him. To find out after you signed him that hes quick and thats a surprise to you, well that makes me wonder what else dont they know about him. His playing speed should have been a known quantity. Somehow I am not getting that warm fuzzy feeling from this guy.
i would think finding out a guy is quicker than you thought would be a good thing. all you have on f.a.'s is film and sometimes it's hard to tell everything from watching film.thats why they have the combines
i don't see a kickoff guy on the final 53 roster

Oh, he'll probably be there, alright. Parcells will make room for him by deactivating somebody each game day. Just who gets deactivated will be an "injury" situation thing. If we have a surplus of healthy people at one position, then one will be deactivated on game day to make room for the kickoff man.
