Are we just supposed to overlook those three interceptions against the Commanders? Are we to ignore the fact he looked petrified and in over his head for most of the game?

How about the miles overthrow?

How about the Detroit game?

How about the first half of last season?

I could go on...

Of course not. It's the haters mantra. Pick a few plays from a few games, ignoring the hundreds of other good plays, and harp on those as if that is the norm. It's what makes people who don't respect Romo's play stand out as ignorant.

Not at all. Just do a better job of keeping all that in context.

You forgot some:
Fumble and int against the jets
The overthrow of Dez Bryant against the giants
The amateurish beyond the line of scrimmage penalty against the giants
The easy Hanna td he badly missed
Taking the field scared against the Vikings
The fact his offense hasn't approached 25ppg scored since 2007
The high red-zone pass to Bennett in 17-17 ball game vs titans that was intercepted
How about the backacross his shoulders throw late against Minny in 2010?
How about perfectly snapped fumble against Minny in the playoffs? That ruined what had bad a great drive

I could go on...

Please do.

Now that is someone who recalls every negative detail as if that defines the player. The absolute very worst type of Romo hater.
Forget about the extreme vast majority of positives, this guy will mark every bad one 20-30 times vs any good one.
Really amazing.
If the Cowboys were to ever win it all with Romo at QB, some of those types might actually committ suicide.

Sometimes I wonder if UFC has two handles on this site.

We already went through how bad the OL allegedly was, when Drew Bledsoe haunted us. Then Romo came and made people forget. Funny thing is, he OL got worse over the years. Without Romo, it would have been more ugly than those days of Bledsoe getting killed.

Until Mr. Tony wins a super bowl, the debate will linger. I'm not saying it's right, but that's just how it is. People always used to say John Elway would never win a Super Bowl until he finally did late in his career.

That's not just how it is. It's just how ESPN puts it.

Ok, now list us every single good play he has done. Don't rush though, I can wait a week or two, because that's what'll take you to list them. I'll be expecting to see a list of the good things he has done, or are you one of those negative nancies who only view the negative aspects of things.

Also, all those things you listed, I have no problem accepting those plays, because the good he has done sure as heck greatly outweighs the negative, and it's not even close!

of course not, but don't overlook the fact that he had the Cowboys ahead by 12 with 4 minutes to play in that Giants game. Detroit was a bad game. Amazing what happens in the second half of the season when Dez's light goes on!

I urge you to go on, and while your at it , make a list of games that he brought the team back to win!

Whether you like Tony Romo or not, and I understand and believe that there are valid points on both sides of the argument, the bottom line is that he is our best option at QB by far right now. Who else are we going to get? We have no other viable option at this point so there's no point in going overboard with the Romo bashing because anyone else we could get would be a significant downgrade. So there's really no point in ripping him apart because he's our only option right now, might as well just accept that.

Not to be *that guy,* but there really aren't valid arguments for not liking Tony Romo as an NFL QB.

When people blame Romo for this team not making the playoffs last year I literally LOL because we would not have even sniffed the playoffs without him.

When people make ficticious statements that could never be qualified in reality.. i literally LOL.

Oh come on sure there are. I like Romo, I think he's a very good QB, but there are certainly points that can be made against him, namely big blunders of his that simply can't be denied, but I also believe that the arguments for him outweigh those against him.
