He's 6'3 and weighs 330lbs. He has 33.5" arms and showed the ability to two-gap. He's great at running stunts and has tremendous athletic traits but didn't show a lot of pass rush. To knock for me is that his bull rush did flash for a guy so powerful and long.

I'd rather have a DT who consistently bursts into the backfield, but the thing about Mazi is that there's little doubt he will be hard to move and play well against the run.

I thought DT was one of our top needs and was the position I wanted most. Of course, I wanted a player like Kancey who could get some pressure, but we needed the run defense as well. He will be an early-down monster.
