Yeah, that's what I heard on the Draft Show. KC called back after Dallas took him and said that's who they were after. Now, maybe that's hyperbole, but usually these teams have a pretty good idea of when a player might go. Mazi's power as a run defender and upside because of his athleticism might have the team seeing more than just a run stopper in him.

I think he has a quick first step and could get to the backfield. It souds like his technique needs to be fine tuned but he should see the field early. If DQ can do for him what he did for Osa look out. And it sounds like he really loves the game which isn't always the case.
