I went back and looked at their past four games. The results are SHOCKING. These are the results of their drives that started at their own 35 yard line or worse.Macnalty;3059861 said:Theo you the man...just keep hoping you are right with your accessement of Bennett into our offense.
I like the trend you exposed but need more data for a complete solution to be derived. What did there starts look like in the New Orleans game, where are you getting this information? Keep up the great sleuthing and I am confident that David will be putting them deep at the Linc. Go Cowboys
miamicowboy21;3059816 said:Yeah, Buehler is flying under the radar for sure. He's justified his spot on the team no doubt. I got tired of wacthing Folk constantly giving teams the ball at the 30 yard line with his short kickoffs.

Out of 31 drives, they punted or had turnovers on 24 of them (77.4%), scored touchdowns on 3 of them (9.8%), and kicked field goals on 4 of them (12.9%).
That means they score on less than 1/4 of their possessions for a total of 33 points on 31 possessions.
These are remarkably terrible statistics.
shocking indeed. Buehler needs to bring his A game on Sunday.theogt;3059881 said:I went back and looked at their past four games. The results are SHOCKING. These are the results of their drives that started at their own 35 yard line or worse.

The Eagles do not have a drive of at least five minutes long for a touchdown so far this season. None.

100% agree about clock management. The Eagles' offense is predicated on capitalizing off big plays. Reducing their opportunities for scoring quickly works in our favor.Hoofbite;3059938 said:Despite some of the ineptitude seen in their stats, they still average 29 per game.
No doubt a lot of that is a good amount of help from the defense in getting them short fields.
Clock control needs to be a priority more than ever. Keep them from warming and striking quickly by keeping them on the sidelines.
Gonna need another ZERO turnover game from Romo and others this week.

Glad we have Buehler, he's a huge addition to our special teams. But Folk is one of the best PK's in football without question.

You need to name this stat Theo, you found it and did all the leg work, it is really relevant (the Theostat). Now that you have invented a new Stat can you do something about your Martellus prediction so you are batting 1000. This could bring the team into a new dimension, well that may be a little strong but would it create sleepless nights for the defensive coordinators and their minions.
TheSport78;3059809 said:Sterling Sharpe made a great point of how Philly is a quick strike offense where out of Philly's 20 TD drives this year, 17 have been 6 plays or less! Then, he shows DAVID BUEHLER. It will be a clear and beautiful night for football, so expect to see at least 3 touchbacks by Buehler. This will cause Philly to go 80 yards which they have NOT proved they can do consistently. Make Philly sustain long drives and the game is ours. :starspin

Maybe call it the Sustainable Offense Statistic?
I ran our last three games real quick. We had 3 scoring drives starting on our 36 but to stay true to the SOS, I didn't include them.
