All systems go? LOL!!! Not buying it.

Just look at the replay and anyone can see that play did some damage. How much? Remains to be seen. But hard to believe he won't be limited in some capacity.
He came back in for their final TD and ran the ball 3 tough yards up the middle.
I'll be surprised if he's not just fine.

lol, they are way to finesse to beat us that style

Didn't say they would be running the ball against us we're #1 against the run, they're going to attack our weakness, our 26th pass defense. Defending the pass has been the main issue that's gotten us knocked out of the playoffs since 06. We had Seattle down in the 06 playoffs and Hasselbeck hit Jeremy Stevens from 30+ yards out for the go ahead TD with around 7 minutes to go.

We could never pressure Eli who kept moving the chains on 3rd down in the 07 playoffs. Favre torched us for 4 TD's in the 09 playoffs and a one legged Aaron Rodgers shredded us in the 2nd half in the 2014 playoffs. We've had issues mounting a 4th quarter pass rush and we don't have good cover corners who can pick off passes and elite QBs take advantage.

That is their Achilles heel. They depend too much on Rodgers. Rod M. will have a great game plan ready that hopefully features much more of the 3-2-6 scheme we saw against Detroit. Put 5-7 guys on the line & let Mr. 007 Golden Arm figure out who's coming. I'm so sick of hearing about this guy, that I can't wait to see Irving & Co. face plant him into the 2" turf. Let's see what a God he is with a dislocated shoulder :hammer:

So that regular season game we won in GB was just our imaginations? You make it sound like we haven't a chance to win.

The regular season game we played against them was in week 6, a lot has changed since then. We were riding a 4 game winning streak into that game en route to an 11 game winning streak. We were playing our best football of the season while Rodgers appeared to be having another off year. We were 2-2 the last month and had to suck it up in the 2 games we won, while the Packers have been rolling to a 7 game winning streak and Rodgers is SMOKING hot. We have a chance to win but I don't like our chances, just being honest.

I haven't been thrilled with the way we've played the past month (check my archives) especially mailing in the season finale and we have a rookie QB who's numbers have come down. Opponents have caught up to Dak a little and he's going to be up against it facing a HOF QB who's playing as good as it gets. We can win this game but a lot of things are going to have to go our way to do it. A lot of things went our way the first time we played them, go do a recap.

You are foolish to count the last game against us. We didn't play it to win, the goal was to rest key players and get out of Philly healthy. It was a smart way to end the scheduled games, IMO.

I always had you pegged as a fair weather fan, guess I was right. Dak and the boys are going to kick the Packers butts up and down the field for 4 quarters. I'm not surprised you don't see it coming.

I understand we didn't want to risk injuries but we should have played our starters a half because they got a week off. Dak was 4-4 and should have been kept in until he got into a rhythm. Not playing Zeke cost us our #1 ranking in rushing this season. We threw away an opportunity to build a head of steam entering the playoffs and an opportunity to set a franchise record with 14 wins. I know all that's meaningless in the big picture but it's still accomplishments that would have put a nice ribbon on this season.

In 2014 despite not having a bye week to rest we played our starters a half and made sure we had the season finale under control before we started pulling our starters. Garrett gave Murray an opportunity to break Emmitt's franchise rushing record and played him into the 3rd quarter. We played that game to win and to accomplish some team goals. Garrett preached how important it was to enter the playoffs with momentum and he went away from that. Your predictions are worthless, you're the same guy who predicted that Greg Hardy would show up for training camp....Ooops! LOL Even after training camp started you kept saying he would show up. I'm not predicting the Cowboys will lose on Sunday, all I'm saying is I don't like our chances but I do think we have a chance.

Smash mouth football on the first drive to send a message

And if Green Bay is loading up to stop the run, Dallas should run it anyway? No thanks, I'd rather throw it a few times early on and open up the running lanes.

Bring on the stacked box that's how Zeke goes the distance. Giants tried to finesse them, we better not try that either.

If Pack are gonna stop the run, no way they'll have enough corners to cover all our wr's. I hope Dak sees Dez in single coverage, or TWill, or Butler, and goes deep with them. Not only Zeke, they have to have guys on Beasley and Witten. All the talk about ARodgers and how our secondary has to cover their Jordy Nelsonless team, we are fully heathy both sides of the ball.

Sure..

He broke 1 long run against a stacked box (Pitt) in 16 games. I love those odds...

Perhaps you didn't see how the Giants defense played the Cowboys. They shut Zeke down, and because Dak was never able he o get going, they continued to shut him down the entire game. Oh, Dallas can TRY to run right at Green Bay early, but the Pack has the league's #5 run defense. That tells me that Dallas would be better off by throwing the ball at least 50% of the time on the first few series, which would force Green Bay to honor the passing game as well as the running game. That's when you're going to be able to run on them.

Or… They could just follow your plan, repeatedly beat their head against the wall and claim it doesn't hurt.

You are right, I'm no Nostradamus when it comes to predictions but who among us is? You? I don't think so. You knock me for being so bold to express my will for the future and I humbly eat crow when they do not work out as I thought. We should all be so accountable for the things we say on this forum.

The definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results. I commend you for your recollection of Garrett's action in 2014. As those actions did not net the desired results who can blame him for getting away from that approach and trying something different? You? Insanity!

I wouldn't say they can't run but their lead guy is a converted receiver who should fumble eventually. The more Michel ran the ball, the less effective he became last week.

You have to admit your prediction that Hardy would show up for training camp was destined to blow up in your face. Hardy hadn't been seen at the facility all spring and summer, no OTA's or mini camps and Stephen Jones confirmed in May the Cowboys had moved on from him but you kept insisting he would show up for training camp. lol Even a week after training camp started you kept saying he would be there. I asked do you honestly believe Hardy will show up before training camp is over and be apart of our 53 man roster and your response was "yup!" You just throw things out there that have no rhyme of reason.

Dude I'm not talking about their run game. I'm saying they can run away from us, this is revenge for two years ago.

They have no real running game.

Rodgers is their most effective runner.

He didn't run it much on the so-so surface at Lambeau but I expect Rodgers to run it a lot on Sunday.

I guess you didn't watch what Dallas did to that awesome Green Bay rushing defense in the 1st game.

Let me refresh your memory:

At the time, Green Bay had the #1 rushing defense in the NFL.

Ezekiel Elliott rushed for 157 yards in that game on 28 carries.

Oh, they rank #5 now, you say? We're really really scared n' stuff!
