Looks like Mark Tauscher is out with a sprained knee against us. They just put their center on injured reserve.

To the point though, does anyone have a good idea of who has been starting for them on the line for this season or a website for such things? NFL.com confuses it all with special teams starts so it's impossible for me to know since I don't watch Green Bay games unless we're beating them.

Wells is their backup center, but he has been the starter for the last few seasons anyway. I hear Packer fans say the sacks come from Rodgers holding the ball as much as the OL.

Coverage sacks, nice. I love me some coverage sacks.

I've seen them play 3 times this year. Their pass blocking is AWFUL. Also true is the fact, that many times, Rodgers does hold onto the ball too long, so it's a combination of the two. He gets sacked A LOT!

This could be the game for Spencer where he records his sack. :D

Aaron Rodgers is usually running for his life, no matter who the pass rush is. I know Jared Allen is pretty good, but I'd place Ware head and shoulders above him and I think Brooking and James are better than the Vikings MLBs...and the Vikings were getting after that behind when they played Green Bay BOTH games. I don't think Rodgers was able to stay in the pocket once.

Jared Allen had 7.5 sacks against them in 2 games.

I'm predicting 6 sacks, with Ware and Ratliff having 2 each.

Remember after the preseason just before the first game how so many "experts" were slobbering all over the Packers? about how great their conversion to the 3-4 was going, how great the Offense was looking, how Rodgers was a contender for MVP, etc? Strange how none of those experts now are talking about them...

:laugh2:

Hopefully Dallas can keep it going in that direction.

Aaron Rodgers has been sacked 37 times this season. That puts him on pace to be sacked 74 times. It is an average of 4.6 sacks per game.

The position he plays is not called QB in Green Bay, they call it prone.

Clifton will probalby start again this week at LT. But he has been injured in two games and in the TAmpa game gave out in conditioning in the 4th quarter. The LG will be either College or Lang. College had the worse game of his career last week and may be replace in the line-up. Wells is solid but not spectacular. Their RG is a 2nd year guy Sitton who has been the most solid player on the line. The RT now that Tauchser is out is Barbre who has had his ups and downs and appears do well inthe run game but is overpowered in the pass game.

If College goes, then Lang will start at RT. If Barbre is out, Lang will replace him. The team says Lang will play somewhere on the line but still are making up their mind where to play him this week.

They have struggled all year on their line, and Rogers holds onto the ball way too long. We should DOMINATE BOTH lines.

Jared Allen is a football stud. Is he as good as Ware? Probably not, but they are not as far apart as you make them out to be.

Rodgers must be pretty good. He has a 103.3 QB rating and has thrown 16TD's and only 5 int's despite all the sacks. His 63.1 completion percentage looks good also.

I didn't say he was a bad QB. By the way, those 5 INTs are the only turnovers the Packers have had all season. No fumbles.

I watched most of that game on Sunday (thank you Fox for switching away from that awful Chicago-Arizona game), and I couldn't believe how long Rodgers was holding the ball. Most of the sacks and pressures weren't defenders blowing past the OL like you might think, but the entire pocket slowly collapsing around him until he finally had to eat it.

I was seriously wondering if he wasn't losing his confidence, because you can't tell me that some WRs weren't ever getting open. At some point you have to fire the ball in there, and it looked like he just didn't want to do that, for whatever reason.

I watched the GB-MIN game and saw the same thing. Rodgers looks good when he throws it, but sometimes he just doesn't throw it. Maybe he's just being too cautious... which would likely have something to do with his high completion percentage and low number of picks.

That's what I'm thinking, that he's just extremely reluctant to risk a pick. Sacks don't show up in that QB rating, after all. But if I were a coach, I'd at least want him to throw the ball away more.
