Green Bay without McCarthy

They lost their starting left tackle who is considered one of the best in the league. They have schooled the best defense in the NFL. Granted their best player wasn't at 100%. The Cowboys are years away from competing at this level.

Seems far more successful than Cowboys without Garrett.

This is a very weird and stupid comparison. I am not sure what you are getting at here. That Garrett is better than Mike? That Garrett was good?

Garrett was owned by Mike in his career. Garrett went to the Giants and had a terrible year, especially their offense. So again, what is your point here?

They also don’t have Philbin coaching the OL like we do in Dallas.

They run the ball now, while our RG has gotten worse, including last year with Columbo, who got fired by Joe Judge in NY in 5 games, while the HC took over the RG.

I know the team heavily invested in the defense after he left, which made a big difference, but still...
Proof is always in the pudding.

It shows. Now if the Cowboys would just do the same.....

Mike McCarthy in reality is only relevant here if he had input on offense. But Jerry Jones pulled out the checkbook even though Moore got offered the HC job at Boise State.

MM is a West Coast guy.

No way Dak operates out of a West Coast after floundering around in a basic offense for multiple years, before finally realizing he needs to throw a go route on man coverage with no safety help on the sidelines off of play action.

We are pretty dysfunctional..

Sean McDermott
McVay
LaFleur
Frank Reich
Pete Carroll
Harbaugh
Arians
Sean Payton

Seems like a lot of coaches, mostly young, with dominant personalities and are known as innovative that have control over a particular aspect of the team.

The mediocrity is the old man’s club...
