1) Ellis felt like he was left out when the Cowboys switch over to a 3-4 defense. Last years draftee's further hurt his chances to stay with the team.
2) Ellis claimed he saw the writing on the wall after seeing the Cowboy the War Room Draft Board.
3) Ellis has been very scarce at Valley Ranch in recent days and seems to be unhappy with the T.O. skipping some voluntary off-season workouts.
4) SECULATION THAT Ellis MAY skip some workouts to get himself traded or released.
5) Some gibber about the Ray Lewis, Ed Reed, Roy Williams and Ellis trade pusblished by scout.com earlier this year.
6) SUMMARY: It's probably not fair that Ellis might be remembered as the disgruntled defender who got schemed out of town.

Thanks,
This is Ellis best chance at going far in the playoffs and if he is complaining than who needs him.You would think after all these years in the NFL without one playoff win he would embrace whatever is best for the team...I say put away the pride and selfeshness for the good of the team and I just hope that this is just another stab by the media to stir up some drama and not a true account of Ellis actions and thoughts...

I don't feel for Ellis at all.

He got paid a very good and fair contract extension in 2003. The defense can't be schemed just to suit his capabilities. Now he wants to complain about getting less playing time when in actuality he's just as productive and it will probably extend is career a year or two. Furthermore, going to the 3-4 has allowed him to increase his price tag when his contract runs up because he'll have shown that he doesn't have to play in a 4-3.

He really has nothing to complain about and if he truly is STILL griping about the situation, we would've been better off drafting Randy Moss all along.
