Merriman has more negative plays (sacks, stuffs) and tackles. Ellis is hopeless in pass coverage. Greg's had a nice year, but Ware and Merriman are the two best OLBs in the NFL.

Yeah, Ellis can't cover worth anything, but he was a true defensive end prior to conversion. Merriman aint that great in coverage either.

Ahh Merriman is good. 11.5 sacks, 2 FF is not too bad at all. 6 sacks in the last 3 games and 4 games with 2 or more sacks. Given they lost their "genius" DC, hes still having a good season.
