I was mildly impressed by his play, the one where he didn't get the sack but he drove the tackle back I thought was his best.

Apparently his achilles is strong enough to rush the passer, but they said he couldn't drop back in coverage during the game. Interesting to see how he progresses. Spencer I thought looked fast today, I think/hope that Ellis' role will continue to be nickel pass rusher.

Ellis played very very well. I'm ready to see an Ellis/Ware/Tank/Ratliff or Spencer nickel rushing defense.

It was awesome to see him do that...brought a tear to my eye.

He's a real Cowboy, his whole career, and a team leader. He even roots on Spencer, who could take his job. He wants to win.
