ha so all he did was rush? and did he look healthy like running full speed?

He was the nickel rusher. He got some sacks, some good pressure. Looked strong. Quick off the snap. I guess he can't cover yet, but he has mobility to rush the passer.

Gratz to the guy!
It was a year long recovery from all we read and he has 1.5 now in such a few snaps.

Ellis is a class act; regardless of his whines, and I wish him much continued success.

Hopefully he'll produce and get a little money in the off-seaosn from Jerry so his whines can be ended forever.

i wasnt able to watch the game how did he look running around???

he mainly played on nickel downs...I'd guess 10-12 snaps total

looked very good rushing the passer...didnt see him drop or have to play in space on any plays

which is fine, that may be his role the rest of the yr

I enjoy watching him dominate the tackles but when he plays the linebacker postition he looks out of place and slow in coverage, we need to keep him on the line and if need be for size and strength to stop the run put in Spencer at OLB and and let him chase down the back.

per Brad Sham, he doesn't feel any pain rushing, only when he goes backward. So we prolly won't see him in coverage for awhile.

I'll gladly eat my words. The achilles injury and his age had me convinced he wouldn't help the cowboys again. It appears I was very wrong and it makes me extremely happy.

Ellis played great .... and did anyone else see him talking to Romo on the sidelines?

I think he is gonna enjoy his new role without any pressure to be the starter.

he is gonna be a very solid addition for us as the season wears on...our pass rush is still average to mediocre at best, I cant believe people wanted to dump this guy

we need him

David

our pass rush is neither average or mediocre, just ask miami, chicago or the rams. It just isn't quite as good as the nfl's #1 offensive jaugernaut.;)
