I was making fun of people who post to argue, get one over, be on top, be right, etc etc. We can see it right here in this thread...in a disgusting way.

I'd like to see more "well huh...how about that" instead. Didn't mean to discourage you from it or criticize.

But this isn't football related and it's also not really cowboy related ,because the man played for the Seattle last, but he played for four other teams it's always becomes a cowboy story if somebody even stopped here for a cup of coffee...

I remember stories of guys on our practice squad that never even played a snap never even got activated, not once, but they say ex cowboy did this...:facepalm:

Exactly, I'm just sharing a news story that involves someone that played for the Cowboys at one point. There's not really a lot to discuss until Training Camp. So, this makes an interesting topic of discussion, I thought lol.

It is interesting and relevant to the Cowboys world which encompasses everything from this to threads about Dakota demolishing his old mansion, lol

Have you noticed how many people that said it shouldn't be there, make a point of engaging in it?

Yeah, that's a good point, and his lawn doesn't deserve it lol.
 
How is this even a story in the main forum? He was a Cowboy for a season 10 years ago. His behavior should come as a surprise to no one. It's good to see at least on the National level, it's "Former NFL player" and not "Former Cowboy."

The best thing that can be done is that the media doesn't give idiots like this the attention.

I mean he just another one on the pile of purple drink man, Josh Gordon etc

I mean there are others that just continually throw away these opportunities and none of us are going to have empathy for someone like that....

I think it's your right to throw everything away you have achieved by yourself. People act as if there is an obligation coming with it. I once made a 180° turn in my life and just walked away from a sport and a team I was among the best in. Simply because it payed nothing and I wanted a career.

Now I'm not saying you should beat your girl of course, but one has all the right in the world to throw his stuff away.
