These Cowboys in the superbowl. With Romo at the helm? Record ratings.

Not sure the league is terrified of that situation.

No, that wasn't what I was referring to.

But more a group of people coming together, having a common purpose and motivation.

Tell yourself whatever you want. I'm not interested in continuing to debate it.

I believe technically he is correct. Since the charges were dismissed and the guilty verdict vacated, there is now technically nothing on the books in North Carolina for Hardy. He is not "guilty", nor is he "not guilty". There are no charges now, period.

I say all of this knowing it is really petty by the way, so please know that I am not ribbing ya!

this basically is the first ACTUAL sign of proof that Greg Hardy has a VERY good shot at being a Dallas Cowboy in 2015...

But the dictatorship of the Goodell / Mara / Kraft regime, have their own rules they apply. And they are not equal to all.
Dallas signs someone, one thing, usually not good happens. Jaguars signs them, most likely nothing happens. Giants, Patriots, Steelers, Packers signs them, they get praised and nothing happens. At one time the 49ers were in that group too, and still may be.

I would agree with the overall sentiment, but Goodell and his people will have to tread lightly on this considering they have no reliable evidence that Hardy did anything wrong and no evidence that Hardy bought her off. The actual rumor around NC is that the settlement did not prevent Holder from showing up to testify. Given that her original testimony had enough holes that the prosecution felt that they could not proceed without her showing up, there is really nothing more than a "he said she said". Personally, I think the NFLPA would have a field day if Goodell tried to punish Hardy.

Not saying this as a person that wants Hardy to sign with Dallas at all, but there has been a general stink about this case from the beginning in my opinion. I think Hardy got railroaded.

The NFL owes us one or two the whole 10 Million Penalty. They were wrong when they penalized the Skinz and the Cowboys. They were also wrong on the Dez catch. I suspect that if the Cowboys signed Hardy, and that a big if, the NFL might see their way clear to just letting things progress accordingly.

Doubt the NFL has had any thoughts of any injustices they have done. They do their dirt and move on to the next. So i hope nobody ever holds their breath waiting for a righted wrong from the NFL.

Fisher has voiced his thoughts on hardy and how he thinks she is guilty without doubt in past stories. As you can tell in his story and how he describes his acts as idiocy, But he reports what he hears from the team. And i believe that they are open minded to anything, but i dont think they would get in on any bids for him. The only way i think Dallas would sign him is a contract like Meltons. But i think too many teams need these passrushers and he is going to cash in this yr. Anybody thinking and saying he will sign a small contract to prove himself is lying to themselves.

Jaguars
Bengals
Bucaneers

Think he ends up on one of these 3 teams

Its not a technicality. if hardy were found not guilty, he would be done with the criminal aspect of this case. In theory, if some more evidence turned up, enough that they could proceed without holder, he could not be prosecuted again.

since the chargers were dropped, within a certain amount of time, he could be charged again.

I don't believe I ever mentioned a technicality, but I am flexible in my discussions here. :) My opinion and the opinion of many of the locals is that she is not going to show because she got what she wanted in the civil settlement. I reiterate that I am not officially in either camp on signing Hardy, but he is currently 100% free and clear on this so he should be allowed to go about his business as such. The City of Charlotte has already ruled that they are not turning over the case documents to the NFL and I can guarantee that Hardy's attorneys are not going to give them anything.

Might sound good, but i just dont see the team going this route. If the NFL rules that they wont suspend him, there is going to be a bidding war for him. Could see a team like the Jags putting in a big bid for him, Getting him in Fa and a player like Leonard Williams in the draft. They have the cap to get this done.

The guy is a headcase. Yes, very talented but if you can't predict what he is going to do, how valuable can he be? It's like the Suh situation -- absolutely dominant player that should have been suspended for the game that the team needed him the most for. Why? Because he did something stupid. Hardy has cornered the market on stupid. This is the kind of guy who gets himself in the headlines for all the wrong reasons and becomes a major distraction, often at the most important times.
