Id feel better about the dline if we had hardy, lawrence, jack crawford, t crawford, irving, and gregory returning to training camp.

If i make 1 post a day for a year it would take me a decade to get to 36k posts, how do some of you have 40-60k posts? Ridiculous.

Amazing how 15 minutes ago no one on this forum really wanted him back, now he says he wants to come back and everyone wants him again. Hardy has the potential to be much better in year 2, but would want him to test the market to determine his value. Personally I think a lot of teams stay clear of him and those that are interested probably offer him a shorter deal. I would take him back on a resonable contract that was 1 to 3 years with minimal guarantees. That may be of benefit to Hardy anyway as he is still young and could hit free agency again very soon with a more productive season under his belt.

Always came off as a guy that was genuinely happy to be here. Get him signed up to a modest deal and add in whatever they were thinking about offering that scrub Claiborne.

Geez, Greg. We get it.

Sucking up to the get-a-long gang of Romo and Witten got you over the top. Give it a rest.

Although you could have thrown some props to Jason Garrett, which is not ignored.

I've wanted the Cowboys to resign Hardy right along... He's good, not great, but a good DE.

His shenanigans have probably cost him $5 mil a season.

You eliminate the 3-4 teams... the teams with better DE's... the teams that won't sign him because of his past issues and statements... the pool for his services is pretty shallow IMO.

Translation: My free agency options are limited.

Players like playing for the Cowboys and in Dallas.

Or you could be relentless negative and state that right after the game he's thinking about his free agency options that have not yet materialized.

Dallas bottom ten in sacks in the league, Hardy, 3 sacks last nine games, numerous times called into the head coaches office, missed numerous days during the week with no explanation including this week and you want to resign him.....no thanks

Perhaps you are right.

If I were a free agent and I had seen what Brandon Carr has got away with, I would make a beeline to Dallas as well.

I'd love him back at a much more muted salary, may with escalators for good play and performance in following years. I'd rather not have to replace him right now, and getting him for a good price could be a boon for this defense.

I'd say 8 million a year.
