He didn't randomly bring it up. His comparison was made for the whole nfl and then for the division jones is in. If jones was in a different division, I don't think dak's name would have been mentioned

I’m not saying that one QB is better than the other, but Dak has had the benefit of being in a stable system with KM for several years with a good OL and legitimate weapons, while DJ went through a couple coordinators/coaches with a shoddy OL and a lack of skilled playmakers, other than a post-ACL Barkley. So clearly that has an impact to the disparity in records.

People are completely ignoring that Dak plays in a optimal situation vs Daniel Jones who has had a awful cast of players around him.

Dak is regressing since his rookie year while Jones has improved.
Jones is a better overall package than Dak but that is really not saying much as they both are tier 3 overpaid QB.
Just because Jerry paid him Elite cash doesn't translate to the elite reality of the player's abilities.
Have you Dak lovers seen this man play QB?

In no way shape or form is Daniel Jones close to Dak. They are both garbage. But Dak is the better piece of garbage. Identical passer? Do you even watch football?

Given their draft status it shouldn’t even be a question and it’s not. Dak is better. My main issue with these rankings is that turnovers are weighted so highly for dak. A few posts above they still had josh Allen top 3. You would think his turnovers last season would bump him down a few spots.

I love how the outlier season for Dak and turnovers counts against him but 4 years of Jones fumbling and tossing picks for fun doesn’t count against him. Real unbiased reporting here lol

The Giants won 9 games with him and the Giants suck. The Cowboys were good enough to win 11-12 with him.

There are no wide gaps between 2nd tier QBs. If Dak was so much better than Jones he'd be in the Burrow/Rodgers category. That's a wide gap.

Daniel Jones has been the in the NFL for 4 seasons.
He has directed more than FIVE wins exactly one time.
He has shown zero awareness as a runner or passer in this league.
He has a Passer rating 12 points below Dak.
He has NEVER beaten Dak in head to head matchups.

Two things are responsible for this silly take.
1. He had a good game versus a weak Minny team.. that Dallas mopped by 40.
2. Idiots hate Dak and pretend he had the Dallas team we were week 6 all year versus the reality of losing 4 starters to injury.

Rookie contract Daniel Jones got you top 10 selections 3 years in a row.

And Daks qb rating last year was 92.7 to Daniel Jones’s 92.0.

If there was a hard and fast way to evaluate QB's that everyone agreed on, there would be a lot less threads and discussion on this forum, amirite?

I'm just pointing out that those saying that Jones was better this year have something to point to. The idea isn't nuts. Personally, I put a lot of the blame for Dak's struggles on Moore and Zeke, which is something that the team seems to agree on. Hopefully that was the issue.
