I'd still give Roman a go. Old? Maybe. Great mind? Yes. He'd be miles better than Garrett.

finally at least a viable name. not a bad idea. I think good candidate given lamar and that Receiving core and their RBs and no stars anywhere and what they have accomplished.....and I have argued that Dak is a west coast type QB who is at his best on the move, so it would fit.

I've been saying that for a long time in regards to Dak. Roman fits him perfectly! And don't forget what he did with SFO. I think it's become clear who really was responsible for the 49ers success under Harbaugh.
 
Kellen is gonna be the Interim HC after Thanksgiving. Got the makings now....no experience....He good.

Your not hiring him to run a defense..you are hiring him because he is an offensive mastermind.
The defense can be addressed through a new defensive coordinator hiring.
I would hire Gary Patterson.
Heck.. I would hire Patterson as HC also
 
There is never going to be a next coach until 2075 . Garett will coach this team until he’s 101 years a old.

The guy is 36. He coached at EC 5 years ago.

Look. Riley might be good. Might. This team is ready to win now. Why give the job to a question mark. College coaches don’t have a great record transitioning to the NFL. If you had to go with a Saban or Meyer or Shaw. A guy that has done it a long time. Riley is untested and his teams play no defense.

Agreed, and imo, of the candidates currently coaching at the NFL level, I think Roman is the best option
