this subject has been brought up several times over, ..and seems it will continue to be so, so long as viewing audiences are wow-mesmerized by Lamar Jackson's MVP like productivity
with the Ravens.
in their eyes: when they see Lamar, they apparently see Dak .... and they drool to have that kind of productivity and explosion in this Cowboys offense.
what they are not getting is Dak is not that kind of explosive running QB. Dak is a different kind of mobile QB.
His mobility is more similar to Russell Wilson. And Russell and Dak use their mobility to scramble away from pressure in an uneven field to get additional yards up field
and they are reserved in how they run, they don't run and take on big body tacklers the way you see a Lamar, or a Colin Kapernick did under Greg Roman offense.
You see Russell and Dak run out of bounds, or sliding to ground to as precaution to protect their bodies.
When you do see them occasionally big run against tacklers, it's always in RPO's to try to sneak that surprise big run, including around the ground line.
I do admit that I want to see the offense under Dak using his mobility expand the passing game to be more than just a pocket passer- he's great rolling out to his left and shooting it downfield.
but I'm more for that mobility to create passing plays ... vs running plays.
