Gregory Injury Update

Great. Didn't want a partially torn Achilles or something to show up. We have the depth to cope, but it will be nice to have reinforcements like Hardy, Mclain and eventually Gregory coming for the D as the season goes on. That early bye is a blessing now

Damn, and HA sprains have a high probability of reoccurring too. This will likely effect him all season. Week 5 can't get her soon enough for this DL.

Whew. I was secretly gripping this one. They left just enough wiggle room in his diagnosis last night.

So who do you believe?

I think Rappaport is going with what the usual time frame is for high ankle sprains. Obviously the Jones' would have more info, maybe it's not as bad of a sprain as say TO had when he was here, and the return date more towards the '4 weeks' rather than 6+

Could have been worse
Thought it was when I seen it
I expect 6 weeks for a speed rusher but could have been a season

So who do you believe?

High ankle sprains are weird. Some guys can recover in 2 weeks, others need closer to 6. Ibuprofen and RICE that ankle Gregory and hopefully we'll have you back by the Patriots game. At worst, after the bye.

This is the best case scenario. I thought he was done for the year when I saw the highlight last night.

Hopefully, Gregory gives TO a call to borrow that magical hyperbaric chamber.

I am always skeptical of the Cowboys' injury reports but I think Gregory might be one of those who heal a little faster than normal.

Randy has a special body. I'm not predicting he will heal faster than average, but it is not uncommon for elite athletes like himself to do so.

I think Dez will be in there first
