Gronkowski released...

I kinda liked Gronk. I was hoping he would develop into a serviceable fullback. Just what does it take to make another Daryl Johnston.
You'll have to ask his mother.

If they're looking for a FB so badly, why don't they just bring back Deon Anderson?

I was reading that they said they didnt feel like they needed a full back because Phillips and Witten could be used as lead blockers. If there plan is to use Witten as a lead blocker in the running game you cant help but wonder how stupid this decision is. Why the heck would you risk injury to your pro bowl TE using him as a lead blocker in the running game. Unless they mean mostly Phillips and some Witten then this one is a head scratchier to me.

Chapus is 2 years in a weight room away from helping us.

not just about strength, it's about angles and using apponents own weight against them

He is a TE, fer krissakes! That is what they do! Maybe we should have Romo just hand the ball off so he doesn't hurt his arm.

Being a lead blocker in the running game is a lot harder on the body and much more physically demanding then blocking inline at TE. You are not comparing apples to apples.

I don't get the Teddy Williams affection. Surely there are better PS candidates.

I'm sure Dallas is going to tell any of their players eligible that they want to add them to the practice squad. Might as well keep your options open.

When you miss your blocking assignment and get the franchise QB carted off the field...............not surprising your arse is cut.

I agree. How can anyone think the Cowboys have any thoughts about him having a future when they barely gave him a wink of a notice in preseason?

Nobody ever forgave him for missing his block on tony gbye gronk

Do you seriously think that had anything at all to do with him being cut now?

He's been hurt. When he ran over the WR coach.

Thought you were talking about John Conner.

That's who I thought of as well. Speaking of which, he's laying people out cold for the Jets. :/

Forget that was him - has he been hurt this whole time? Still, he has never proven anything. Radway being hurt may have helped open a spot on the practice squad for A WR.

Is Manny Johnson still PS eligilbe?
